She squeaked a little when he picked her up and carried her to the kitchen. "Love I must be getting heavier. You musnt pick me up so quickly... You may hurt yourself" she said gently with a small smile.

"You are getting a little heavier but I do not mind. I am fine." Colin said smiling at her. "I promise I will not hurt you." He said and set her in a chair and started to cook for her.

She sighed ever so slightly but nodded her head when he said he was fine. She got comfy on the chair and watched him. "You can't hurt me unless you yourself get hurt darling" she said pointedly and with a small smile.

"True. It will be fine." He said to her. Colin finished cooking their meal and sat down to eat it with her. "Trust me. We will all be fine." He said. He would always protect her.

She looked at him for a long moment before looking at the food. "Yeah you may be right" she agreed and thanked him for the food before slowly eating. The baby was upset making it hard.

Colin looked at her. "What's wrong love?" He asked her. He was clearly worried about her like usual. He cared so much about her and just wanted her to be okay.

Her eyes flickered up and at him. "Ah it's nothing. Baby just is a little cranky" she said shaking her head a little.

"I'm sorry love." He said and gently put his hand on her stomach. He hoped that the baby would calm down for her.

She gave him a lopsided smile and looked at his hand. She put hers atop his and let out a breath. Her eyes fluttered shut for a moment. "Ha... It's alright"

"I love you." He said with a smile smile. He wanted to help her and their child in anyway that he could. He kissed her forehead.
