Dean smiled, watching her go. "She's cute."

[Light Bringer]

"You can say that again." Lucifer said, nodding a little.

[Kia_Bee]

"So...uh...how's life?" Dean asked, deciding to make small talk.

[Light Bringer]

"Oh, you know, just got out of the cage so, not gonna lie, it's going pretty darn good. How's things going in casa de Winchester?"

[Kia_Bee]

Dean sighed deeply as memories came back. "We...we lost a friend on a hunt. A maniac got to her before Sam and I could save her." He said, actually starting to get choked up.

"Well that just sucks, doesn't it?" Lucifer said, surprised that Dean was reacting the way that he was. "Aren't you used to the death by now?"

[Kia_Bee]

"She was family to us, a little sister that we never had." Dean replied before looking up at him. "And what do you mean by that?"

[Light Bringer]

"Seems like a hunters life is just jam packed with death. Don't you hunters ever get...numb? Emotionally, I mean."

Dean sighed softly. "I thought I was, but when she died..." He said before trailing off.
