She smiled and rolled onto her side. She curled up a bit and relaxed until the cold got to her and she got up. "Alright. I'm up."

Storm purred in amusement and got up, stretching. He padded out of the hollow tree and looked around. He waited for her, and then started walking towards the camp, alert for any cats.

Streamdust padded out with him and slide across the ice, not realizing it was there. She slid and stumbled, eventually sticking her claws into the ice to steady herself. "I hate leaf-bare." She muttered

Storm purred in amusement. He rested his tail on her back to help keep her steady and they walked. Pricking his ears, he heard voices. A patrol of cats padded from the bushes, flattening their ears when they saw him.

Streamdust moved to protect him but sighed in relief. "Goldenblossom, Pebbleheart, Runningclaw. What are you all doing out here?" She asked. "Looking for you!" Runningclaw growled. "What is he doing with you?" He snapped. Streamdust gave a hiss of warning. "Back down. He's a good friend of mine. He didn't hurt me. Show some respect will you? He's our guest!"

Storm swished his tail, wary. He pressed against Streamdust, hoping she'd be able to persuade them to let him stay.

Pebbleheart, a little grey tabby with green eyes, stepped forward with a calm expression. She was rather small but looks could be deceiving for she was very powerful. "She's not wrong. He'll make a very good warrior. He's got the right build." The small cat mewed. Goldenblossom cocked her head. "We should escort them back to cam. It's freezing out here! Will you come?" She asked Storm

"As long as you don't treat me like a prisoner," he said, flicking his tail a bit.

Goldenblossom purred in amusement. "I should've known that you'd find yourself a feisty one, Streamdust. Well, come one then!" The young warrior, around Streamdust's age, called out leading them back to camp.
