Prairie looked skeptical, and began a full investigation of her so-called "uncle". She strode briskly in circle around Brendan, carefully looking him over.

Periwinkle just kept staring shyly at the male,
Her eyelashes constantly fluttering over her eyes in a bashful manner.

Cayden didn't want to leave Chell, but he did greet Brendan with a happy, friendly bark, as if to greet the beta by saying 'hi!'.

Brendan was highly amused, and tried not to laugh. "Are they always like this?" He managed to stutter out, without erupting into a fit of laughter.

"as far as i know they are atleast while im around" Chell wagged her tail smiling

Brendan laughed, but was taken by surprise when Prairie decided he wasn't a threat, and leaped upon his back with all her strength. He burst out laughing again. "I can't wait till our pups are born." He murmured with a smile,
Not realizing he had spoken aloud.

Cayden snuggled against Chell's belly, letting out a yawn as he looked up at her with a sleepy smile.

"i think they want to sleep"

Brendan laughed. "At least that one does." He said, gesturing to Cayden whom had fallen asleep against Chell. Prairie continued wobbly standing on Brendan's back, whistle Periwinkle just laid down on the ground, hitting a small stone back and forth between her paws.

Cayden's eyes slowly slid shut, and he slipped into a peaceful sleep leaning against Chell.

Prairie noticed her brother's slumber, and frowned with a huff of disapproval. She bounced off of Brendan, and quickly trotted over to Cayden giving him a firm shove trying to wake the young male pup up.

chell frowned and nuzzled prairie "dont wake him up sweet heart hes tired"

Prairie snorted, and sat down looking dejected for a moment. But soon regaining her composure, she starting a prideful prance around the den, appearing to be studying the walls. After a while a sly smile appeared on her face, as she thought of a way to wake her brother, and began barking, quietly at first, but progressively increasing with each yip.

As Periwinkle continued her small game with the stone,
It suddenly got away from her and bounced outside. She hesitated, before cautiously heading towards the entrance, blinking in the bright light as she searched for her small rock.
