Warriors 1x1 - Kia_Bee and Weredog

[Weredog]

Sungaze stopped. "Oh...I suppose we should." He seemed a bit surprised. The medicine cat often had a difficult time remembering to eat. Once he got something on his mind little else seemed to matter to him. His skinny appearance reflected this fact, often even during times of plentiful prey.

[Kia_Bee]

"Are you sure you're alright? You've been acting odd lately." Lavenderpaw said, concerned for her mentor. It had only been a moon since she was assigned to him and she didn't feel like she knew everything should her mentor suddenly join Starclan.

[Weredog]

'You've been acting odd.' Familiar words to Sungaze. For as long as he could remember, cats had been saying similar things to him. He was used to it though. "Yes. I am fine." He said her with a nod. He grabbed whatever prey animal happened to be at the top of the fresh kill pile with the hope that doing so would help reassure her that he was alright.

Lavenderpaw watched her mentor before grabbing herself a mouse and padding over a little ways to eat it.

[Weredog]

Sungaze dropped the prey once he found someplace to sit. It was a vole. He finished his meal within a few hungry bites.

[Kia_Bee]

"Morning, Sungaze. I trust everything is alright." Stonestar said as he padded over to him to share a meal.

[Weredog]

"Yes." The medicine cat responded. "I was going to take Lavenderpaw to look for some herbs we need but we are alright."

[Kia_Bee]

"She's a smart young cat." Stonestar chuckled softly.

[Weredog]

"She is." Sungaze agreed. He might not be great at showing it all the time but he appreciated his apprentice and the help she gave him.

[Kia_Bee]

"Her mother would be proud." Stonestar purred, a soft, sad gaze in his golden eyes. No one knew who her father was, and her mother had joined Starclan before she became an apprentice.
