She continued unloading her backpack.
She did a slight nod, her black hair bounced slightly and said " Caitlyn." She finished unloading her backpack and picked up her books for her first few classes. She sighed and placed something in her pocket, and stood at her locker for a minute and looked at the boy momentarily, before closing the locker and looking at the schedule.
" Homeroom, room 105. Just down the hall," she said to herself. She stood at her locker looking at the small slip of paper and studied the neat black penmanship. She took a small step backwards before slowly walking off still looking at the paper.

JORDAN

Jordan followed Caitlyn, seeing as they had the same homeroom, after he had seen the numbers: 105 on his paper.

Caitlyn heard the footsteps behind her. She ignored them until she went to open the door of room 105 and saw the boy from earlier in the reflection of the glass window. She momentarily froze, her arm extended towards the door her hand an inch from the doorknob.

"Go on." Jordan murmured, waiting behind her. He looked at his sneakers, blushing.

Caitlyn gulped, she thought the response was weird but funny, she snickered slightly. She placed her hand on the doorknob opening it. She walked in and immediately took 1 of the few free seats in the back/ middle classroom. She placed her books on the seat and looked at Jordan as he sat down, and she smiled slightly. From across the room, a boy waved at her. It was Damien, the captain of her soccer team. She did a slight wave back and looked at her desk he was like a brother to her she couldn't help but be happy they had homeroom together.

Jordan sat by his friend, Charlen. She was always kind to him, and he was glad they shared homeroom. "Hey." He whispered to the light-brown haired girl. "Hi." She answered, her blue eyes gleaming. Jordan smiled as she looked towards her desk. Her long hair flipped over her shoulder, resting on her back. Jordan faced the front of the room, waiting for class to start.

Caitlyn glanced at Jordan then at Damien then she looked to the front of the room. A tall woman walked in blonde hair, large glasses, blue eyes, and a grey and white striped skirt with a pink top. She stood in front of the classroom.
" I'm Ms.James!" she said happily " I am your homeroom teacher." Caitlyn looked around the room already wishing the day as over she was just glad her new teacher seemed kind. She started to wonder what other classes she had with Jordan.

Jordan looked at his desk, regretting going to school that day. He hoped his new teacher wasn't a Mary Sue...

Caitlyn froze. Thinking that the activity was for kids but admittedly she had to join in. The teacher wanted them to get into small groups so the students could get to know each other. She didn't want to join in she wanted to walk out of the school and go home for the first time since she moved. She slowly stood up and looked around the room. She thought about going to join Damien, but she knew him, she stood there staring at the ground. She didn't like to open up to strangers, she would just say her name and a like or 2. She stood there staring at the ground.

Jordan stood slowly. He and Caitlyn were apparently the only ones without a group. "Hey..." He said to her, his voice quiet.
