Mitchell looked as she jumped awake he listened to her as she sai a quiet thanks for the food and blanket he only nodded "You are welcome" he said and was a bit surprised at her reaction after he spoke. He had expected maybe a thank you or small smile but he had not expected such great thanks. He smiled a little bit "You are welcome miss" he said and smiled "Thank you..." He said softly. He would have turned to leave but a thought came to him "I too have family to care for and would surely worry if one of them did not return home... Is there anyone I can notify of your current situation for you? And may I ask your name?" He asked

At his acknowledgment of her thanks, she waited a moment to see if he would leave. When he remained there, she leaned back and sat down on her feet. Her eyes watched him, looking up to him with gratitude. With his thanks, she only smiled to him. As he turned to leave, he seemed to pause a moment and looked back. Murina was a bit confused, that was until he started to speak. Listening, she probably should tell him the truth. At the question, she looked to the ground. "No. It is just me." She told him. Nobody cared where she was. Her parents both died. One from disease, the other from an accident in the street. She had been focused on looking at the ground and completely forgot about his second question. When her concentration broke, her eyes snapped up at him. Looking at him, she stayed there for a minute it seemed before she spoke. "My name..." she paused and looked back to the guard. This man has only been nice to her. But she doubted if her name was worth the risk. Casting her gaze down once more, the brunnette focused on the ground before speaking up. "Murina." She raised her head and looked up to the guard. "And yours?" She asked.

Mitchell watched her with slight curiosity as she seemed to hesitate. He frowned when she spoke of being alone "You should my lie to those who try to help you..." He said in reguards to her earlier lies about a family. He sighed "For those who do have loved ones to care for it is no joking matter" he said watching her. He waited until she seemed to realize his second question. She paused before giving her name but when she finally did he nodded "Well Murina, if that is your true name, I am Mitchell and you will likely see a lot of me down here being as I am a prison guard"

Murina heard his words and kept her sour thoughts towards him to herself. She only showed a soft look towards him and a hurtful face that he thought she was lying to him. She casted her gaze back down to the ground as she listed to his words, listening to the hints. When he mentioned the joking matter, she looked back up to him. She only nodded to hearing his name. "Nice to meet you, sir." Her eyes looked around and looked back up to him. "But not under these circumstances I suppose..." She shrugged softly and pulled the blanket around her more.

Mitchell watched her with a frown "Do not give me such a look of disappointment I am not the one who lied about trying to feed a starving family" he said and sighed. He shook his head a little bit watching her. He listened to her words frowning "Well I suppose if you had not stolen we might have met on better terms" she said very matter of fact.

Murina looked taken a back by his such outspoken opinion and assumption of her and her family. She stood to her feet. "You know nothing about me nor my family! How dare you make a claim as such!" Anger approached her and she yelled those words to him, but no one cared about the raised voices. A storm brewed in her eyes and the gleamed with a spark. Her soul flashed and flickered with flames and thunder and she shook. Fists gripped tight, her body trembled as her breath was deep and easy to hear. "I did what I did and I am here for my own actions and my choices. Don't you dare bring my family into this." There was an emphasis on the word dare as she growled the words through clenched teeth.

Mitchell growled "Do not yell at me woman! I saved your hand from being chopped off! You yourself claimed that it was just you! I asked if I could tell anyone who may worry for your life and you said you were alone!" he snapped at her. His voice did not raise and instead was only a low growl. he glared at her and turned "Next time I shall re think helping you" he grumbled and went to sit by the large wood door at the end of the long row of doors.

The minute she finished she realized her bounds were over stepped. She was only a woman. Her words were useless here. She shrunk back at his own voice. Regret was with her, but she stood her ground, her eyes to the floor. He was right. Her hand should have been cut off. What did it matter though. She had no one besides herself. She was alone, and she still defended her father's name. He as a great man to her. As the guard left, she twisted in her heels and went to the corner. Taking the blanket, she wrapped herself up and watched the wall, leaving the food she was given. She had lost her appitite. She just wanted to get out of here. It wasn't anytime soon she bet.

Mitchell grumbled and stood by the door to be honest it was quite boring. He looked over as one of the men in the cells motioned him over he rolled his eyes and walked over "What" he grumbled. The man looked at him and laughed a scratchy coughing laugh "Oh sir I only ask to meet the other prisoners!" he said smiling a crooked smile his old teeth rotting "I lived 'ere since you were just a boy, so why don't ya let an old man take a little walk eh?" he asked. Mitchell growled "Not a chance old man" he said and went to stand back by the door.

With all the light from the window gone, Murina looked through it from the spot on the ground. She missed her mother and her father dearly. She had been on her own for so long. She had forgotten what it was like to be with another person and to have a civil conversation. As her thoughts trailed, weariness over took her. Wrapped in the blanket on the cold stone floor, sleep dragged her away. There was tears streaming down her face, but she was asleep now and they stopped coming. The ones already cried were dancing down her face. When she fell asleep, she had moved where she was. Back against the wall and curled up, her loose strands fell into her face. The final tears went slowly down her cheeks as they dried. She was asleep for the night for sure. Nightmares haunted her dreams, but no noise she made, nor no wince or movement. Not a single expression or cringe escaped her, except her own self hatred like all that happened to her family was her fault.
