indent"this is the most abnormal case we've ever received." he looked up from the files, nodding his head in agreement with elio's statement. his colleagues agreed as well, and began to have a discussion among themselves. however, yuuhi didn't engage with their conversation. their voices drowned out in the background as he pondered about the case they were asked to work on tonight after just finishing one. it was indeed the most abnormal case that has ever happened in years. he adjusted his glasses before he flipped through the files and examined them once more. it was quite interesting from yuuhi's perspective, the demon's motives were unclear to him. he had killed several of his own kind, along with a couple of angels and humans. they were all killed differently yet in the cruelest way, done by the work of a demon who is more twisted than the devil himself. though, if this information was leaked to the public, it would set the city in great panic and that could not happen. thus, they needed to move as efficiently as possible before any more death counts arose.

indentyuuhi let out a yawn, blinking blanking at one of the crime scenes before him he was asked to investigate for tonight. he could hear his colleagues in front talking about how gruesome the scene he had to examine. he hadn't seen it for himself yet as the angels were full of eagerness and curiosity to see it first for themselves.
indentit was currently past midnight. sleepy, and so late..., he quietly thought to himself. he was eager to go home and rest once he finishes with his investigations. he then felt someone lightly patting him on the shoulder, waking him up. "yuuhi, you can't fall asleep just yet." one of his colleagues slightly frowned at him, asahi. yuuhi signed and looked at the latter. "i know. but i'll be okay, asahi." he gave him a small smile, playfully slapping his hand off of him. the other was always worried about him, but he eventually grew to trust yuuhi to take care of himself and get his part in cases they worked together so far. his words assured him of that and decided to leave yuuhi alone for the night. "then, see you tomorrow yuuhi!" the other waved at him before leaving with his colleagues, waving at him as well.

indenta smile formed on his weary face as he waved at them back, watching them disappear into the dark city before approaching the crime scene and eager to see it himself. the area was taped with, "CRIME SCENE DO NOT CROSS" all over and went over it anyway, careful not to tamper with any evidence in the scene. it was as gruesome as the angels had said, but not wasn't fazed by it as he was used to seeing these kind of scenes. it was said the demon took the opportunity to lure their victim in the alley and somewhere deep within the city. it was confirmed, the victim involved was a female angel and she had been reported missing for several days. though, she was considered dead after her corpse was found and sent to the autopsy for examination. as his dark brown eyes examined through the scene, he noticed a few strands of hair, possibly from the victim. then a large dent formed in the wall and busted up garbage dumpsters, there were also a bunch of cracks stretched out from the said large dent in the wall. what was horrorific about the scene was how there was blood seething through the cracks and dripped onto the concrete ground almost drying up, subtly forming a morse code that no one could notice right away underneath the mess of blood spilt and trash in the area. based om his observations, it could noted the demon was a strong individual and possibly likes to play with his victims. he then could feel the weight of pressure of being one of the top investigators talked about frequently in his department on his shoulders, where he was constantly praised for his work and accomplishments throughout his years of working independently as a detective. no case was ever considered easy for him, but he could tell he was gonna have a difficult time, along with his colleagues.

indentbefore he could jot a couple of observation down on his notepad and continue his investigation, yuuhi's hand came to a halt and his eyes became narrow. he turned around, and faced the figure standing in the alley amidst the darkness that hid his face. "you've been standing there for awhile now," he called out to the stranger as he looked at him. it took him a long time to realize someone had been quietly watching him from the shadows in discreet. however, it was not someone friendly from what he sense. he immediately felt repluse by the feeling of disgust towards their presence that reek of pure evil and unforgiven sins. though, there something familiar about the other, but he couldn't tell what it was exactly that gave him that feeling. and he knew this individual could not be the suspect they were looking for. that demon would have the common sense not to revisit his crime scenes and show his face to the angels, as he must know by now they were all looking for him after committing many terrible crimes.

indentthus, yuuhi was left to wonder, why hasn't he harmed me yet? and most importantly, why was a demon stalking me? it was quite strange to him.

indentnormally, this kind of situation would be unsettling for an angel but yuuhi remained calm, careful not to let his guard down despite the possibilities of what could happen to him. but there had to be a reason why the demon approach him unexpectedly, what was his intentions exactly? "who are you, and what do you want from me?" he asked, he then crossed his arms as he patiently waited for answers.
