without anyone knowing moonstar secretly slipped out of camp and followed the scent of shadow."i will have my revenge". moon's eyes went cold as she tracked the sinister shadow.

moon was padding through the forest when she caught a scent she knew. it was not shadow's....then she heard a twig snap.moon jumped and turned around in alarm. on instinct she jumped into the shrubs for cover. she got her pelt full of mud so the white color of her coat wouldnt stand out so much. she was almost invisible. although the scent wasnt threatening only the two wolves she trusted could know why she was tracking shadow. snow and flame. well... she thinks she can trust flame....

Flame padded into his den and curled up his head swimming with memories he was doing his best to forget.

the familiar non threatening scent faded and became something much darker....moon looked up in extreme alarm. she knew she had to leave asap. just as she was working out a plan moon's blood curdling scream of pain rang out across the forest right into the camp.

Flame jolted to his paw and raced out of camp, following moon's scent.
