When Flicker heard the howl she whinned and paced in her den "Im so stupid" she growled at herself "Now there gonna come and chase me out or kill me" she said before crawling out and thinking of running then going back in the den and continuing to pace back and fourth.

Flame padded towards the camp entrance. He ducked down and slipped out of the camp, pausing to wait for Kaitlyn before continuing on through the forest. He pricked his ears opening his jaws slightly to get a better scent of the wolf.

Flicker continued pacing her ears pulled back so that they were flat against her skull.Finally she started getting hot and her tongue looled out of her parted jaws as she walked out of the den into the cold night air.She sniffed the air and silently turned and padded quickly towards the river tripping a couple times over some tree roots but when she arrived she lapped thristly at the chilled water sighing happily as it cooled her down

Flame followed the scent towards the river. He didn't want to startle the she-wolf as she lowered her head to drink. He waited patiently until she would notice them. They were close to the border of Shadow's pack, the Fire pack and if she spooked and ran into his territory only the stars know what would happen to her.

Flicker lifted her head and looked back seeing Flame and Kaitlyn her heart skipped and beat and she fell back into the water.She surfaced and dragged herself out and shook her fur out before growling lowly and crouching down shivering lightly as she watched them with hard eyes in case they attacked,she could be ready for it.

"We won't hurt you." He said quietly. He leaned down to drink from the river, sitting down and curled his tail over his paws, showing her that he meant no harm.

Kaitlyn flopped one ear down

Flicker flicked her ears as the male spoke but stayed were she was.She growled again but then stopped,water dripped off of her fur and onto the ground as she crouched there eyeing them both.She was still tensed as she slowly striaghtened up deciding that she could out run both of them if needed.Her ears pulled back against her skull as she sat down on her haunches,finally she spoked just the singly word "Hi".
