Ilios scrambled to sit up, her heart racing. She looked at him,, overwelmed with peace soon a she saw him. "Those trashcan I tipped over were full o food." She mmuttered, getting to her feet.

Sheriff smiled. "I'll go check it out. Sit tight." He bounded out the station and stopped outside. He looked back in. "Hey, where are the trash cans?"

Ilios laughed, padding over to him. "Follow that path of fire escapes. They are the only trashcans tipped over." She nodded towards the fire escapes.

Sheriff nodded his head. "Got it." He took off following the fire escapes. He got to the trashcans and began looking through them for something good.

ilios sat down, marveling at the brightness of the sky. "To think I thought light was a car." She laughed at herself.

Sheriff found a bag of leftover meat. He smiled and grabbed it. He turned following the same path he had taken to get there. He got to the station and walked down the stairs. He set the food down in front of her. "Eat up."

Ilios smiled at him. "Go ahead." She said softly, looking at the reflective wall.

Sheriff pulled a piece of meat from the bag. He laid down on chewed on it. "You okay?"

She flicked an ear, looking at him. "Course." She smiled, snatching a piece of meat. Shs laid down, eating it calmly.

Kit slept with him happily, her tail wagged as she dreamt happy dreams.
