when they got back to camp Spirit plopped on the ground out of breath

Ruby barked to Foxy "I will go out hunting for the pack dinner!" Ruby leapt out of the den and scented a elk herd. She found the elk herd and went for the weakest cow. The weak cow squealed as Ruby attacked it out of no where. She had killed the cow and looked around as the herd scattered. She saw 2 calves and went after the bigger one. The mother let out a cry of fright. The bull charged at Ruby but Ruby was way to quick. Ruby quickly took down a calf and used all her strength to carry the cow and calf back to the den slowly. Ruby had finally got the food in the den and howled calling AJ for dinner since everyone was already there.

Foxy began to eat hungrily. She smiled to Duma and wagged her tail.

Ruby ate slowly she was still tired from dodging that bull so much...
