Jax squinted his eyes, trying to see better, he sniffed the air, too much Shadow scent but he could faintly smell The plains, "This way" he whispered to her, standing really close to her.

Winta nodded, staying close to him just incase. As she walked beside him, she thought....
What if Jax hadn't come?
What if Areo came to attack her again?
Jax couldn't be there every time she was in danger.
She had lots of horrible thoughts running though her mind, which made her very cautious.

With the luck of Jax's nose he sniffed their way back to camp. "Home at last" he said calmly, he was trying to make everything seem better, but he just knew that WInta would not be ok with his decison, so he was going to make sure that conversation was to never come up. He yawned, "Lets go to bed shall we?" he asked Winta.

Metro layed right behind his bush, and closed his eyes, in attempt to fall asleep.

Winta smiled, "Yea..." She said knowing that she wasn't going to have any good dreams tonight. She made her way through their den and lay down, resting her soft head, on her light delicate paws.

Jax followed her, and laid down next to her, knowing that this may be the last night they will spend together, he sighed and licked her forehead a couple of times.

Winta looked up at Jax and licked his forehead back, "Don't leave me ok..." She said frowning, she didn't want her pups without a dad.
