I snap out of my trance and race out of camp to the direction of the scream. I then see wolfpaw. Then I see the fox. I shake my head as it runs off. 'no. I will get revenge for it hurting my friend' U first stop the fox by standing infront of it. I jump onto the fox's back digging my claws into it's back. I then lean my head over to look into the fox's eyes. I take my left paw and I rake my claws across it's face. Blinding it. I get off the fox and I slip under it and rake my claws across it's stomach. I falls on top of me. I Yowl in distress. I close my eyes, almost certain I would die.

I used the last of my strength and pushed the fox off of Gingerpaw I snap at the fox and watch it run away. I collapsed on the forest floor not moving blood coming from my shoulder and side

I stand up and I look at Wolfpaw. I panic. I grab wolfpaw by the scruff and I began dragging her back to camp. 'I won't let you die' I say. When we get to camp I Yowl "HELP! WOLFPAW'S HURT!"
