Isabeau sat apon a large rock overlooking the densite. She howled long and loud as the first shaft of spring sunshine broke through the cloud line shinning over the camp.

Darren yawned, sitting at the edge of camp. He would be up at the crack of dawn these days, really for no reason at all. He shook his dark black fur, the color of a moonless midnight,to get himself out of that sleepy morning haze.

Hawk awoke at the sound of Isabeau's howl. He lifted himself up with shaky, tired paws, stretching for a few moments. He was a morning wolf, unlike his brother. He could adapt more easily to the sunlight and new day. He trotted passed his brother, wondering if maybe he could go hunting.

Lily found it a little harder to awake. She couldn't hear the sound of Isabeau's howl, too lulled into sleep. She was rather small for her age, petite in build. She was about the size of a young apprentice. But, it was true she was only 15 moons old. Finally the sound of the howl cut through her dreams, bringing her to reality.

Zephyr did not awake. She was too sleepy, her dusty blue tinted pelt still in the morning breeze. She lay, not bothered about waking up in time, not prepared per usual. This was the wrong example to set, she new that well; though Zephyr just would not wake on time under any circumstances.
