D2 pinned his ears back and snapped at Raven "Lets it go! The parents are going to hear it!"

[temporal]

Raven looked at D2. Nobody had talked to her like that in a long time and it reminded her of her abusive father that always yelled at her and her siblings. She opened her jaws and let the bear cub go.

[Oddworld Inhabitant]

D2 frowned "Now, leave me and the bear cub alone while I take it back to it's den!" he was pretty P.Oed.

[temporal]

"Listen here D2! I am the alpha of this pack, not you, so you don't give me the orders! Try it again and there will be a punishment!" Raven hissed at him, her eyes burning. She admired how he actually had the nerve to speak to an alpha like he just did.

[Oddworld Inhabitant]

"Fine" he snapped back. He started walking back to the bear den.

Raven gently pushed the bear with her nose and it followed D2, looking back at her with big brown eyes while it made small sounds.

[Oddworld Inhabitant]

(Later...
D2 was napping under the over hanging rock he called home.

[temporal]

Raven returned to her pack's camp and retreated to her den where she walked to the back and threw herself onto the cold floor. Dust spewed up and settled on her black fur but she didn't mind. She closed her eyes and soon drifted off into a deep sleep.

[Oddworld Inhabitant]

D2 woke up and started wandering around, he heard the pained groan of a downed reindeer.

[temporal]

Raven opened her eyes but something was wrong. Her mother was there, smiling down warmly at her siblings which were pups. She looked at her paws, noticing how small they were and how short her dull, black claws were, she realized that she, too, was a pup. She curled next to her mother and noted that, some how, this all seemed too familiar for her liking. "Raven, please don't worry. Your father will not hurt you." her mother said in a voice like silk. Then it slithered into Raven's memory and she remembered the outcome of this. Her mom started to fade away. Then a large, black figure came angrily walking toward her mother, grabbing her scruff and launching her away from the pups. He kept biting and slashing at her mom until she died. Raven hurled herself at her father but he slapped her away with a paw. Then he jumped at her and everything blacked out. Raven awoke from her nightmarish memory, panting hard. Her heart was racing and she felt scared and dead inside.
