Desire bobbed her head softly, looking down at her injured ankle. "Like our pasts." she murmered.

Zink nodded. "Quite like that yes."

Desire looked up at him, her eyes full of painful memories. She broke down, starting to tell Zink about her past. "I was a racer, and my owner, i thought she loved me. She ran me to death. That last run... My leg splintered, and she cast me away, like a dirty shoe." she said, tears running down her face.

Zink pushed his nose against her tears drying them up. "My past was much like yours, There was a girl She jumped me and when i knocked a pole down she would beat me profusely. She finally decided i wasn't good enoguh and tied me up outside with a note."

Desire smiled sadly, shuffling her delicate hooves. "I guess we have similar experiences then." she said softly, her worry for Daybreak going away, along with her guilt.

Echo listened to the horses. Horrible stories were being told. She wanted to be in the conversation too, but nothing interesting had happened to her. She was bred at an Arabian Farm and then sold as a yearling. Her owner bought her, and then came here. Echo lay down, bored and irritated. She felt left out. Ok, she didn't want everybody swarming over her, she just wanted to talk to someone.

Zink sighed and turned to Echo. "This is Echo, And Echo this is, Oh gosh i'm sorry i haven't caught your name."

Desire smiled softly, blowing her long, chestnut forelock out of her chocolate eyes. "I'm Heart's Desire." she said quietly, stepping forwards slightly, her cream coat with chestnut splotches gleaming in a patch of sunlight.

Echo stood up. She smiled and nodded politely. "Nice to meet you, Heart's Desire." she said, softly, pleased that Zink had brought her into the conversation.
