Countless howled again. The other howl, sounded like a male. The brute was close.

Leaf yawned again. She laughed. "I guess I'm sleepy too" she said dreamily.

"Well, we did get up early." he said, pressing against his mate and looking at her necklace.

Leaf nodded, staring out into the forest. Her paws were itching to run through. But she stayed here. She puffed out her chest and exhaled slowly.

Moon looked at her face with a smirk and bolted into the forrest, throwing over his shoulder,"Catch me if you can!"

Leaf playfully growled. She raced after him with quick, nimble paws. Her paws became fast from picking herbs frantically. She sped through the forest, trees whizzing by.

Moon was just a flash of white, and after they neared the river, he hid. Then, he jumped on Leaf, tackling her in the water.

Leaf shrieked and disappeared under the waves. She swam up to the surface and panted. She laughed. "That was great!" she exclaimed.
