Kash picked up his deer and carried it back to camp.

Athena left Lowell and headed back to camp to check on Halo. "How you doing today?" she asked, sniffing her wounds in concern.

Halo slowly sat up, unsure what exactly she should say or do

Athena wagged her tail hapily. "So what exactly hapened yesterday?"

Halo shrugged. "I apparently wandered to near a pack of wolves who enjoyed killing. One was this great big brown brute..." halo shuddered

Athena shuddered. "That's awful! I was kidnapped by a wolf once, but he wasn't part of a pack. I was scared to death!"

Halo nodded. "Same. All i could do was run" halo held up a paw so Athena could see the injured pad.

Athena sniffed at her paw, and frowned. "That smells infected..." she frowned, "You should probably stay off it for awhile."

Athena shrugged. "You could work on keeping it clean... and I'll ask around to see if anyone knows a better way to heal it quickly. Now, are you hungry? My father just brought in a deer..." she looked at Halo questioningly, enjoying caring for her.
