Char smiled and licked her head tenderly.

Hakoda looked down at Ruby with a small smile. "Ruby? Would you like to take a walk or something?" He asked, trying to get some kind of reaction out of her. He didn't want to see her sad anymore.

"I guess." She said, still no emotion on her face.

Echo sighed. She knew she couldnt get anywhere with Ruby. Echo pressed against her mate, looking for comfort. She looked at Deon, daring him to say something

Hakoda smiled, his tail wagging. "Great. Uh, I'm not very familiar to this area, so I guess we'll be walking randomly." He said with a slight chuckle. "Come on." He gently nudged her then started to walk slowly, waiting for her to come with him.

Char sighed and licekd her gently. He whispered so only she could hear. "Don't worry, Hakoda's a tough one. He doesn't like to give up easily." He smiled.

Deon rolled his eyes. "Seems like everyone's getting ready for mating season." He sneered then flicked his tail. "Guess I'll go roaming." He smiled then strutted off to the forest.

Echo glared after him. "Hes a mean, jerkier, rude, verison of you. I dont like him." growled Echo to Char

Ruby followed Hakoda.
"Im coming." She told him.

Char chuckled. "He's just misunderstood. Truth be told, I used to be just like him when I was younger. All the time with my father changed me. He stayed the same." He looked at Echo. "Just give him a chance. He's really a nice guy." He said and licked her cheek. "Besides, it's nice to have my Beta back." He said loud enough for Deon to hear and winked at Echo.

Deon laughed, the sound carrying to Char and Echo.

Hakoda walked beside her, tail wagging slowly. "So, Ruby, were you born here?" He asked, just striking up conversation. He wanted to turn her away from whatever was making her sad.

"No.." She started. "I was born in Blood Pack with my cruel father, Dark, my mother, Star, My sister Saphire, and my three brothers, Night, Moon, and Feather. Saphire and Night were a year older then me Moon and Feather. Moon was born with a pup disorder. My parents and brother Feather died in a fire caused by my brother when we were pups. We diddent know Moon was still alive untill about a year ago. Night was also found to be a killer... The only brother i had... And i sent my younger brother away to live at the river as a loner, as i killed my brother.." She stopped. "No i was born in Blood Pack." Ruby finished, shaking out her white pelt.
