Fernsong waddled outside the nursery and sat down, she wasn't sure how many kit there were but she figured there was about 4 or 5

Lightstar looked at the cats below. Jenga sat next to him. "They might not accept you Jenga, and you may have to fight for your acceptance" He warned. Jenga was only three moons though. "A newcomer has decided to join Blazeclan" He yowled aloud.

Lavenderfall watched. She hoped everything went smoothly.

Fernsong smiled, if this was a older cat she wouldn't be happy but this was only a kit.

Tigerclaw arose from were he was sitting, and padded over to the highrock and sat next to Lavenderfall

Lionclaw got up from in his nest, and hurried to the highrock. He sat down next to Tigerclaw.

Fireheart came over, and sat on Lionclaw's other side, looking up at their leader.

Lionclaw spoke up. "A newcomer? You wouldn't let a kittypet into the clan, would you Lightstar?"

Fireheart looked at Lionclaw with narrowed eyes. "I was a kittypet. Do you, or anyone here doubt my loyalty?"


Lionclaw sighed and didn't reply. Fireheart had joined the clan as a kittypet when he was just a kit. He has grown up in the clan, and no one dared doubt his loyalty now.

Lightstar hissed at Lionclaw. "Old friend, Trust your leader's judgement. This kit is willing to fight to be part of our clan", Jenga? Do you promise to follow the warrior code, and defend you clanmates no matter what the cost" He asked loudly.

Jenga looked up. He didn't want to be teased about being a kittypet. "I want to be a part of Blazeclan" He said proudly, but kit-like.

Lionclaw looked up at Lightstar. "I would never not trust your judgement." He looked at Jenga. "He definitely has the courage, and bravery. He doesn't look much like a kittypet though. He looks like he could have been clan born." He said, taking another look at the kit.

Tigerclaw nodded."I agree. I say give him a try atleast." Tigerclaw looked at them "Who will mentor him, and will he receive a clan name?" He asked, curious. He glanced at Fireheart. Perhaps he would be Jenga's mentor.

"Very well, Than i name you Badgerpaw, and your mentor" He thought. He had high hopes for Tigerclaw, for him ever to become anything more than a warrior he must have an apprentice first. "Will be Tigerclaw" He said.

Badgerpaw approached Tigerclaw, and meowed "I will be the best apprentice i can be" He meowed proudly.

Fernsong purred, happy this apperentice was being accepted

Tigerclaw dipped his head to Lightstar. "I will pas on everything I've learned to him." He said, and looked down at his new apprentice. "I know you will, Badgerpaw." He mewed, and rached down to touch noses with his apprentice.

Fireheart twitched his tail. "Badgerpaw! Badgerpaw!" He cheered for the new apprentice.

Lionclaw joined in, but still didn't quite like the fact of a kittypet joining the clan. Fireheart was another matter. Fireheart was his best friend, and has proved his loyalty for what seems like 100 times over. But he would still give the kit a try. He has come this far.
