Tigerclaw's eyes widened. He pushed Bluestorm back, and clawed at the dog's muzzle. He knew it hurt the dog, but it didn't stop. It had it's eyes fixed on Tigerclaw. Tigerclaw hissed, and took off running, hearing the dog chasing him.
Ambertail's eyes widened. "Tigerclaw!" She yelled, and took off after the dog. She yowled, and jumped, digging her claws into the dog's rump, making it immediately spin around, and face her.
Flarewhisker yowled, and ran. He jumped, and rammed his head into the dog's side as hard as possible, making the dog topple over, and to the ground. Flarewhisker hissed, his back arched, and his ears backed.
Tigerclaw hissed furiously. He knew dogs didn't give up this easily. It wouldn't leave without a serious fight. His ears perked. He could hear more barking. His amber eyes widened, remembering the dreadful day, when dogs came to Thunderclan territory, when his father tried to kill Fireheart, the warrior who saved all the clans, by pinning him down, and trying to get the dog to come and kill him. But Bluestar had saved Fireheart, by tackling the dog, and going with it into the river gorge. A shiver went through him, and he shook his pelt. The barks were sounding closer.
