((Thor's acutally a lot younger than Rusty so he'll be doing his share without any problem. Rusty just has no interest because he is an old man, it's too cold, not enough food and not enough sleeping for his liking. Thor's just arrogant and anti-social))

Leon jumped away he wasn't expecting that but he was lucky to dodge however it made him become out of balanced as he hit a small patch of ice under the snow, he wasn't used to doing this outside, or even play fighting.

Geren walked out of the storage building that held the sleds, he was covered in dirt and dust but at least the job was done. He walked over to the pasture to look at the horses. Starting to think he might pull this off with the help he had.

Rusty continued to eat his hay and not care. Thor stood in his corner avoiding everyone. Strider and Dreamscape had started racing each other around the outside of the pasture to see who was faster.

Tia watched wishing she could do that but she wasn't that fast.

Sweeps looked up, wondering why the girl had left. She shrugged and went back to mousing.

Petra scrawled Thor's name in beside Devils. She shivered and pulled her coat closer to her body. She saw Geren out by the feild and walked up. "These are the pairs I've got so far. Do they look ok?" She showed him her notebook.

Geren looked at the list a bit embarassed that he didn't know the horses that well. "Thor's the big black one in the corner right?" He pointed at Thor who was doing his usual thing. "Have Devil and Thor ever interacted?" He was just wondering if it would be random surprise for them both on the day of the sleigh race. ((I'm in support of random surprise for the oh so great humor it can create))

"Well perhaps," Petra replied. "But I figured that Thor would be a more reliable horse for Devil to be paired with since he's got a bit more training under his belt." She smiled.

((haha, that's going to be a fun pair to handle ;P Geren going to be the driver?))

"Well come on then Coal." He called back before returning his attention to the hay he continued eating along side Rusty. Occasionally pushing the old guy to get the good hay, a normal horse behavior when eating together.

Chief grinned wildly and bounced after the other dog. This change of pace was nice, rather then chase the cat or fight off intruding predators, roughhousing was fun. He barked loudly once again he raced forward, only to slip a little himself.

Rusty didn't seem to care what he was eating as long as he was eating, he didn't care about Devil pushing him now and then.

Leon saw Chief slip and bounced out the way. "Ha! So even those who are used to it out here slip! Good to know!"

coal shook the snow off of her and caught up with devil "i cant wait till the snow with the rippons and ..............." she trailed off imagining it now and her eyes shining then she looked at devil "sorry if im annoying you"

"Hello, is Geren here?" Anna called into the barn. 'I wonder when I'm going to finally meet him' she thought to herself.

Geren heard the call from outside and walking in behind Anna, "You need me something?" He smiled.

"Oh hi Anna!" Petra waved. "Geren this is Anna, our new trainer. I met her yesterday. Anna this is Geren the barn's owner." She smiled as she made introductions.

Sweeps crept out into the snow again.
