Jessica smiled and kissed him back."thank you." she said, against his lips.

"no idea" Levi said trying to figure out how to turn the foal

"you have to push on her stomach to turn the foal" James said over the door as he pulled his shirt off, "ill show you, move" and he walked into the stall, and sat at Holly's back, putting his hands on the mare's side

"Mhmm" Kane said

Holly snorted and kicked her legs. She winced and cried in pain.

Freddie winced. "She doesn't like that."

County nodded and held Holly's head.

Kiara woke up and saw the barn lights. She put o her barn clothes and headed down the steps.

"i know, but i have to turn the foal, or its going to break its neck on the way out" James said, pressing on the mare's side "County, do we have and sedatives in the feed room??" he asked

"be careful James" Levi said, still kneeling behind the mare

Holly kicked again and whined.

County nodded and ran to get the sedatives.

Kiara walked in. "What's going on?"

"Kia!!" Levi said, standing

"Shes giving birth" James said before Levi could say any more

Kiara folded her arms. "And no one thought to tell me about this?" she asked looking at her mare.

Holly calmed down at Kia's voice. It was just enough to flip the foal.

Freddie looked at Levi like I told you so.

County laughed and patted the mare. "James, NOW!!"

"Im sorry Kia, none of us knew till about a half hour ago" Levi said

"calm down, shes not ready yet" James said as he moved next to his brother, and waited for the foal's feet and nose to appear
