Vitani walked from the bushes to the wolves and strays. "Im here..." she said in a leader like voice.

Mati looked at Vitani "look like you need to get a handle on your wolves Vitani, they're quite rude, especially to an alpha" she chuckled darkly and got to her paws.

[ouija.]

Vitani snapped at her and growled. "At least mine are pure wolf. Not mutts..." she looked at the strays.

GUESS WHAT?! I might get a chihuahua this year when I move! I shouldn't get my hopes up though, but I'm trying to warm up my parents. Nothin' works better for cold than cocoa. ^_^ ;P ))


Jadzia sat impatiently. "Your not an alpha, your not fit to have the name. It gives other 'alphas' a bad name, and other dogs for you to consider yourself as either."

Opal sat watcing her pack-mates chew Mati and she tried to keep her giggling level down.

(long post alert! here we see Mati finally crack after almost five years of suffering in silence. poor girl....)

Mati snarled, her eyes filled with rage "I'm not fit to be alpha!? I give dogs a bad name!? I only do what any ordinary dog would have done in my place. you are the ones who should be ashamed! A scourge on this earth! you don't think we have enough problems without you running around screwing things up?! Pure wolf my A**!" She stalked forward until she was only a few inches from Vitani's face "you think I chose this life?" she hissed "you think I want to live on the streets scrounging for food? If it wasn't for your miserable kind I would be fast asleep on a feather pillow with my bother laying against me and a kind old lady giving us the best food we could eat! it's your fault I act like a I do, It's your fault my mother is DEAD!" She stopped and whipped around, stalking a few paces away and sitting down in the snow "she's dead and shes not coming back" She hung her head and for the first time since that terrible night she felt utterly defeated

Vitani growled. " I didn't kill her,none of us did. And your kind killed my whole family, my dad, my mom, my siblings! And my foster mom!.." she paused for a moment and walked over next to mati. "But thats no reason for me to hate all strays, I know... it hurts when your family dies. But that doesn't mean you should blame all wolves or all strays..." vitani stoped, she didn't know what to saw next.

Mati sighed "you don't understand, you weren't there to see the expression on his face, the coldness of his eyes as he led them. They didn't just kill my mother that night. They killed the kind old lady who took care of us too and the man next door's son and who now's how many others. The grief they caused us killed my brother and very nearly killed me. how old were you when strays killed your family? a year? maybe two? my eyes had just opened that morning. I only got to see my mother for a day before she was taken from me." She sighed again and a tear rolled down her cheek.
