Addali sighed and looked down at her paws with a frown, "Everyone was happy before I was around." She said, looking forward with her back to him.

Shade spotted a deer and smiled.

A wide smirk spread across his muzzle. "Aha! So there it is. You actually do have a bolder side of you. Nonetheless, it matters not to me," he spoke these words in a fluent tone. Chuckling in a mockery-like manner, he pushed her aside lightly. "I haven't time for a wolf such as yourself." He continued onward toward the river, not looking back for even a split second.
