Ave slipped through the long grass she was contained in, her paws hitting the ground with a soft thud every time they came in contact with the firm ground below. As a roar echoed throughout the grass, she dropped to the ground with stealth. The scent of an Alpha tiger came to her nostrils as she lifted her nose to the air and took in a sharp breath. Realizing she was enclosed in a pride territory, Ave drew in a slow breath. "Do not act scared." she thought tentatively, bringing herself to stand. Roaring proudly, as a reply to the Alpha signifying she was willing to take part in his pride, she lifted her chin and kept her position.
Sindu sat in his special tree in his territory. As the only lynx so far, being Alpha was a pretty easy job. He grinned in pleasure as he sharpened his rough claws on the strong bark beneath him. It always felt wonderful to have your claws trimmed up a bit. Yawning powerfully, he curled up and closed one of his eyes, the other wide open to seek intruders.
