§·Zacharie§·
Zacharie nodded, his black eyes cold and bare like the snow, but the snow was melting, in fact, nearly most of it was gone. However, it was only just the beginning of winter, more snow would come and stay. Winter would be hard, but Zacharie was sure that they would overcome it. He spread his leucistic wings and flew a few meters, gliding gently and slowly when he could. His pale legs landed softly in the wet snow, leaving toe marks. He hopped around, scraping away snow and dirt, his head turned to the side to better look and listen for worms or their holes. There was a glint in his dark eyes when he spotted a worm hole, though after much scraping he found nothing. It was a while before he found another hole, this one with a pink rump sticking out of it. Zacharie quickly bobbed his head forward, catching the cold and nearly dead insect in his beak.
[[It's actually really cool to watch robins do this, to watch them move their head to see and listen. I once raised a robin chick. . . <3 ]]
