Bird's name: Agor
Bird's gender: Male
Species: Lesser Bird of Paradise
Physical description: While mainly brown, Agor has a lot of plumage that borders every color of gold. The underside of his neck is a royal green shade of jade and the tips of his plumage borders on white. He has a short and pointed beak, met at each end by bright and intelligent pale eyes. When not displaying his feathers, Agor usually struts rather proudly, chest puffed out with swaying, jerky movements. When it comes to flying, Agor prefers to roost.
Personality: While Agor isn’t mean, he is a bit of a hot-shot. The male bird adores his pretty plumage and assumes that everyone else should as well. While generally kind, Agor can be a bit naïve and over-aggressive if he feels he has been insulted. However ditzy he may seem, Agor is extremely loyal to whoever is the mother of his current nest. Considering himself a bit of a warrior, Agor will protect them to the death.
History:Agor had a standard chickhood. He was hatched from a shell and then stayed in the nest for several weeks before learning to fly, in which time he took off to make his own life.
Offspring: No
Bird's name: Kuwat
Bird's gender: Male
Species: Goldie’s Bird of Paradise
Physical description: Much likes his cousins the Greater and Lesser birds of Paradise, Kuwat has elegant plumage of a variety of colors, mainly gold. He is a bit larger, though, and of course likes to think he has more plumage although that is debatable. He has a long sharp beak and an sharp gaze that makes him look like he is angry, although he is usually the furthest thing from that.
Personality: Kuwat is a serious and intelligent bird. Unlike many of the prideful males, Kuwat prefers to learn new things rather than show off. Eventually he wants to settle down with a pretty female who he plans on staying with for a while, if not until he dies, which is unusual for his species. Serious and intelligent, Kuwat seems almost wise. His slightly older age also aids him in his answers when others come to
History:Standard bird history. Was once young and now is older, wanting to settle down with a solid family.
Offspring: Many from when he was a younger bird but he has traveled since and lost track of them and their mothers.
Bird's name: Sari
Bird's gender: Female
Species: Great Cuckoo Dove
Physical description: Slender and long, Sari has a delicate body and kind face. While her head is grey, the rest of her body is brown, almost red as if she were dipped in a maroon substance. Her feathers are long and thin, delicate just like the rest of her. When she flies she never glides and prefers walking rather than flying, although she is not bad at it. It simply tires her out quickly. Sari tends to bob when she walks, eyes constantly on her surroundings as she nervously makes sure she is safe.
Personality: Sari is a very elegant bird, used to being treated in a certain way. Delicate and fragile in both body and spirit, Sari is highly offended if others are not gentle with her and gets upset and flustered very easily. A lover of tradition and dances, Sari likes nothing more than to watch the other birds during the spring. However, she always gives them privacy once their dance is over. Someday she hopes someone will dance for her.
History:Sari was hatched in the city and there she stayed until she was old enough to leave the nest. One night during a storm, the young bird was blown into the forest and there she discovered the Birds of Paradise. Deciding that she was pretty enough to be one of them, Sari has stayed ever since.
