Sparrowflight lead the way back to camp, then turned Suddenley, and raced back to where they found Stormpaw. A small flattened piece of fur lay there, black as night.

Friskstar raced out of camp after the others hadnt returned in a while, and found Sparrowflight. "What happened to Stormpaw?" He yowled, giving the body a sniff. It was already going stiff with cold.

Mosseyes looked down. "it was bogclan. And I was too late to stop it." she said sadly, shaking her head. "too late." she whispered, tears running down her face. She looked at friskstar, her eyes blazing with a green fire deep within. "when I face the warrior who did this, I will show no mercy." she growled.

Friskstar touched her cheek with his nose. "It wasn't your fault. Not even starclan could have saved him." He examined the tuft of black fur that Sparrowflight had found. It was just about the same shade as his fur. "And that was no warrior. That was their mange-pelt of a leader!!"
