Sandpaw was out and about 'sniff' BLOOD she thought then saw stormpaw
" gasp, stormpaw" she yelled " oh my starclan" she laid down beside him to warm him up, she licked him " i will be rite back ok" she touched her nose to his ear and whispered that, she dashed off "FRISKSTAR, MOSSEYES, I NEED HELP STORMPAW IS INJURED" she yowled

Mosseyes laughed, her green eyes sparkling. "thank you, for listening." she said happily, touching her tail tip to his shoulder. Mosseyes ears pricked, and she jumped to her feet, bristli g. "oh starclan no!" she mewed, and rushed over. "where?"

Briarpaw looked up to see her friend rush through the camp entrance, she rushed to her friend, "what is it, is Stormpaw ok?"

Mosseyes followed the apprentice, the slowed, recognizing the horrible smell. "were too late!" she whispered to sparrowflight. She could smell it in the air.

Briarpaw sprinted after her friend, worry glazed her eyes,
Sparrowflight rushed to the medicine cat's den "gingerclaw we need you," then caught up to the group he recognized the smell and recoiled, he looked over at Briarpaw knowing how this would affect her

sandpaw went to stormpaws side she licked him ' wat about brierpaw ' she thought morning the loss of a friend

Mosseyes crouched over stormpaw, and shook her head. "were too late." she whispered, and turned, and snarled, slashing her claws down a tree trunk. "I was too late!" she hissed angrily, wishing that she could have done something. She could have prevented this. She wished she could have. But she couldn't.

Brairpaw rushed to her brother's side, ignoring the smell she licked a small wound on his face, grief clouding her gaze

Sparrowflight looked over at the slash in the tree Mosseyes had made then looked at her, "I don't think anyone could have saved him, this would have happened to any of the apprentices, it was just chance he decided to go for a hunt"
