Deuxyre nodded, padding back to the den. She went inside, pulling Prince towards her at one side of the den so Shay could lay inside as well.

Deuxyre laid her head on the ground, sighing. She smelled the food in the corner, the smell of chicken and bread filled the den. "If you're hungry, feel free to eat some of the scavenged food." A small smile tugged at her lips, her tail curling around her hind legs.

When Shay returned, Deuxyre was sleeping; her flanks rising and caving in as she breathed. The den was a bit cold inside due to the strong wind.

Deuxyre blinked her eyes open, yawning after getting only an hour of sleep. She glanced at Shay, and when she stood up, he could feel how cold his fur was. "You should get some rest, I can watch over the den." She offered, thinking it was considerate of him to be blocking the chilly wind.
