"It was dark and I was over, until you kissed my lips and you saved me."
Asha huffed a grow-like noise.
"That's not an answer. You can't just leave on a whim then come back and expect everything to be fine and dandy!" The palomino paint mare was comparing this to the time her mother left her when she was a yearling, just because she wanted to spite Parousia. That had caused a terrible blood feud between her mother and her father that, to her knowledge, had never been resolved. How could this happen again to her? But something kept capping her anger. It was the fact that since Gold left, she was able to join Apache shamelessly until the day he died.
She wasn't glaring, her ears weren't pinned, but her voice was saturated with pain and anger. While she was cooling off a bit, but felt that she just couldn't totally forgive him.

Relic
He looked from Zee to Sun as both mares returned the affection. When Sun asked her questions, he answered. "Hmm, I don't actually know much about her, much the same to you and Zee." He said honestly before answering her second question. "Yes." It was a simple answer and didn't really need explaining.

"As your sweet dreams dissolve, I'll crash and burn."
Sun bobbed her head, leaving it as that. She looked to the place Dark had left, her head tilted. She shrugged it off though and dropped her head to graze, tail swishing.

"No, there ain't no rest for the wicked, until we close our eyes for good."
Advocate nuzzled his mare back, smiling down at their surprise colt.
"Has he got a name yet?" He asked quietly, nudging the colt kindly.

"Never gonna give in, never gonna give it up, no."
Shakil watched mutely as his mare left without giving him a chance to get a word in edgewise. He sighed, but decided to let her go. She seemed to really want to, so he wouldn't deny her. Not like he really could anywho, she was already gone. He turned to look at his daughter, not catching her answer to her mother's question about traveling.
"So, Cherokee?" He asked, though he was already planning about taking his mare's advice of finding more company other then her.

"Feels so good being bad, there's no way I'm turning back."
Dark watch the exchange partially, but was mainly focused on her daughter. Then Xanthos's lips moved and she then took Dark's advice.
I'm sorry. The few spot thought to herself, knowing what Xanthos was saying because if she had been her age in her position, she would've said the same. But Dark wasn't the one who just killed the colt, and she was eleven years of age, not two. And so, with her advice taken and work done, Dark nipped at her own colt to wake him.
"Good girl, but Xanthos.... Never apologize. Apologies make regrets." She was done here, so it was time to head back to Relic. She nudged her colt again, just to make sure he knew to follow her, then started off in a beeline to where she last saw Relic.

"I was afraid of the dark, but now it’s all that I want."
With the two stallions now focused on each other, Xanthos was left staring at her colt. Galaxy's hoof slammed down close to the nameless foal's head and he tried to squirm away, but could only shift a few inches. He was hungry and he showed it by quietly nickering at his mother and giving her a pathetic look. But her mind was not trying to figure out how to keep her foal alive. Rather, her thoughts were full of how Dark and Shadow seemed to agree, and what they finally agreed on was most unfortunate. Even in her current state, Xanthos knew what her father was implying when he asked Galaxy to take her away.
She blinked, drawing herself out of her thoughts. From there, she began to move slowly, as if in a daze. And in a way she was in a daze, but it was becoming less daze and more haze. A determined, red, killing haze. She lowered her head, nudging her foal in comfort and feeling along his legs. She huffed a short sigh, muttered something, then struck. The foal was dead within a matter of moments, only a surprised squeak escaping him before two more blows ensured he had the most painless death possible.
"Good girl, but Xanthos," Xanthos' mother was speaking, and the emotionally torn two year old looked up at Dark.
"Never apologize. Apologies make regrets." With that, her mother left. Xanthos didn't have enough feeling left to be shocked by the fact her mother had known what she had said to her colt. Rather, her eyes turned to Galaxy and she was wary of what she would see in him.

"This is it boys, this is war. What are we waiting for?"
Shetan snorted, though he managed to keep the noise quiet.
"Ah, but I didn't. Really, what is it with all these 'what ifs'? If I had truly wanted to kill her, she'd be dead." He rolled his shoulders in an equine shrug, then remembered this was a bit of a sensitive mare he was dealing with.
"But why would I want to kill my own daughter? There would be no benefit to end her life, no benefit to anyone." He detected the pain that was an undercurrent in her voice, but did not address that. Rather, he slung his head over her back again.

"As you stir in your sleep, I hope you think of me."
Cast looked up from where she lay with her filly. Her muzzle reached up to nuzzle her stallion back and then she turned to gaze at Eclipse. She blew a bit in her filly's face then stood up slowly. Tossing her mane back into place, she noticed her foal looking confused. Cast lowered her head, peering into Eclipse's face.
