Feels so good being bad,
There's no way I'm turning back.
Now pain is my pleasure
'Cause nothing could measure.

Dark was not paying attention, that is, until the stallion came barreling into her. After the impact—which she artfully had recovered from—she was alert and ready to fight. Her mane and tail were swaying with her movements as she backed away from the stallion to give her ample room to lash out if need be.
"What the heck? Look where you're going next time, stallion," she grumbled, wanting to break up the tense moment. Now that she was on her own, she wasn't extremely eager to fight.

Once upon a time somebody ran,
Somebody ran away saying,
'Fast as I can, I got to go, I got to go.'
Once upon a time we fell apart.

Xanthos snorted, rolling upright, but not onto her hooves.
"Err, yeah," she said, tilting her head in embarrassment. She shook her head hard, ears flopping about as if she was trying to shake dirt out of them. The leopard waited a moment more then got up, putting on a smile to let everyone know she was fine.

Rising from the ashes,
You spread your wings to fly,
Reaching out now for those final dreams.
Belief will never die.

Vela saw that as soon as the colt noticed her, he dropped the topic of Adara and began to flee. She had to admit, the most wonderful gloating sensation came over her at this sight. However, Sin called him back. Frowning with brow furrowed, she grudgingly let Sin take her own risks. The mare stopped, turning and passing Adara and Isis with a nod as she swiftly returned to her filly. She stopped just before Haven and all the foals and began to pace agitatedly, unsure if she should do something about Sin and still not sure if they were safe.

Oh no, I can't slow down, I can't hold back,
Though you know I wish I could.
No, there ain't no rest for the wicked,
Until we close our eyes for good.

Advocate was indeed still on the grass covered earth, and this was because Shetan was right; he needed a crutch. At Adelita's nudge, he raised his head a bit, blinking groggily. All of his wounds had stopped bleeding, but if he moved a couple would probably reopen. He had been forced to rest as the other horses took off, hoping and praying that some predator wouldn't come upon him in this state. His lips parted, his eyes clearing after a moment or two.
"Sorry, Adelita." He told her, wishing that by some chance he could've won and shown that twisted stallion that he can't just do anything he wanted. His eyes closed for a long blink and when he reopened them, he looked around the clearing.
"I figure he beat Isis as well and got whatever he wanted, didn't he?" The silver bay's brow furrowed and he let his head rest against the earth again.

Everybody's got a dark side.
Do you love me?
Can you love mine?

Oaka tilted her head at the call, letting out a small sigh. As Brumby spoke her name she gave him a nod, showing she was ok with him going off. Now that she was once again alone with Poesis, she was a bit unsure just the stallion was.
"Why don't you take off?" She gently suggested, already drifting after Brumby.
"We'll talk more when they're weaned, ok?" Her eyes searched his, a bit of an apology written in their depths. She wasn't sure what exactly to think anymore, but knew that the grey stallion couldn't hang around Brumby's herd and that the foals' needed milk until they were around six months. And so what she proposed seemed to be the ideal solution for now, at least in her eyes.

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
~xX Kairan Xx~
Kairan bobbed his head in reply, then looked back to where he had left his mare.
"Do you mind if we go check on her? I know she seemed to be losing health recently..." He looked back at the mare, not wanting her to just go. But he had a nagging feeling in the back of his head that couldn't be ignored. And it was pulling, pulling him towards Euphoria.
