The Wild Horses of Utasia V.2 - Not Accepting.

The mare listened to him and then saw Isis come over. She only gave him a nod. "I think we'll be fine Marvel. Brumby isn't far if we would need him." she reminded her stallion and turned to nuzzle him. "Go if you want to it will only be a little while probably." she told him.

[red fox.]

Marvel nodded, glancing at his father's herd. In the distance, he could make out Vela and her new foal, but Brumby was not within sight. The colt guessed that his father was probably tending to Oaka and her youngster, set back in the trees somewhere. Letting out a low whinny to gather his small herd, he led them towards Brumby's herd, his pace slow so Isis could keep up.

Isis grinned. "Ok."

Shadow glanced at Dark then looked at Yatimah. "It is your choice hun. We'll miss you though."

Adara and Isis trotted along behind him.

Thanatos trotted off and settled when he was out of Cast's line of vision. Slowing to a walk, he felt Impostor landing on his back with a wry caw. Rolling his eyes at the bird, he decided to walk towards the forest and earm himself some peace until spring.

Shetan shadowed the band with a small, smug smile on his face. His bright eyes weren't locked, but rather transitioning between three targets. His daughter, his rival, and his sister. The foal, Shetan's foal, was nearly the color of blood with a mane and tail the color of an eclipsed sun. Though small and frail, he could see her transforming into a war mare. In his mind's eye, she blossomed from frail foal to lanky yearling to a muscle bound mare with blood staining her hooves. He shook the image out of his head though. What was he thinking? She was just another filly, one to be used and molded without regret. In about a year Isis would have a heat scent as well, and it'd all start again.
His gaze moved to Marvel, the buckskin was looking over his shoulder as if he could sense Shetan was there. His smug expression grew, and he figured that Marvel was leading his band to his father because he'd decided to go on a little mare gathering trip. Perfect.

Yatimah smiled shyly and nuzzled her uncle. "That's nice of you to say, Uncle, but I'm not so sure Dark will miss me." She brushed her muzzle against Wind's and began to trot off. She would've said something nice in return: I love you, see you soon, etc. But she just couldn't say it. Not after what happened with her parents. Closing her eyes briefly, she broke into a canter, aimlessly taking off into Utasia.

Vela couldn't help but chuckle lightly at her daughter's wording and the sound of her voice. How sweet and innocent, still figuring out how to speak. "Well good, I assume you'll be seeing more of him shortly." She said, looking up to see Marvel heading towards them with his band. She crackled a half smile, motherly pride filling her heart as Brumby's band came over. "What's the occasion, Marvel? Going out for a stroll?"

Oaka stood just to the side of father and son, watching with a detached interest. "His name is Devil's Advocate. Advocate for short." She replied quietly as her eyes softened while she continued to watch her stallion and son. They already looked quite alike in build and Advocate's color seemed to be a mix between his dam's and his sire's. However, the colt had more white on him then Oaka had expected. She barely had any white on her, so it would've made sense if the colt had even less. But it seemed he was a throwback of some sort, which could be interesting as he grew up.

Advocate's hazel eyes were misty but alert as he breathed in Brumby's scent. It mystified him, this new scent and how it was like his own and his mother's. The average sized colt had to admit, the golden chestnut stallion was quite impressive and intimidating, matching his scent perfectly. Advocate smiled politely at his sire, eyes focusing as he decided that he liked this new horse.

Adara stopped dead in her tracks. Something didn't feel right. "Marvel.... Is it him?"

Isis started quivering from her mother's fear.

Shadow watched her go with sadness in his heart. "Goodbye Yatimah daughter of Calypso and Devil."

Poesis stretched and walked himself out a little. Having spent the time in the woods maturing and healing, he was stronger and more powerful...and also more vengeful. Still thinking of the fight for Oaka which did leave him with a permanent slight limp, he set off where he saw them last.

Haven's Star

Haven heard Adara, the almost fully black mare's ears flicked back against her skull for a moment as she looked behind her, searching for that one equine shape with those dark thoughts clouding his head. She slowed lifted black ears, keeping alert and gently nudged Isis forward and closer to Adara. "He won't get near either of you, whether Marvel's here or not." she told Adara and the young filly. Haven knew Shetan would have come back sooner or later, but this time around, she didn't have to worry about him at all. She wasn't on edge like mother and daughter but more as, protective, much like her father had been.

Ebony's Cheeska

The yearling rested her head over her mother's back as she watched Yamitah leave. The filly removed her head backing up in the process and went over to Dark. She slowly lowered herself to the ground until she was layig down similar to a newborn foal. She was tired but she felt attached to her not so perfect family, even if she thought it was perfect. "Dark?" she said to get her sister's attention as she opened her eyes, not wanting to sleep anymore. Cheeska didn't stand back up through as she waited for a response.

Aurora

The mare watched her daughter walk over to Dark. The pure white made lowered her head to graze, though half of her attention was still towards Cheeska. The ten year old wasn't planning on having another foal, Cheeska would end up being her last until something or someone changed her mind. Aurora decided to let her attention wonder now as not to ease drop on her daughter's conversation. She then stopped and went over to Shadow Wind. "Thank you again for letting us stay Wind." the mare told him kindly.

Audra

The filly, not even a year old yet, slowly got to her hooves and went over to her sister, she pressed her head against the mare's stomach gaining her attention. Audra looked to Ruby before prancing over to her father and rearing up, hooves pawing at the air for a few seconds before she returned to all fours. She snorted and lowered her head, flattening her ears, she didn't know she was looking like she was about to snake her sister. Soon ears went forward again but the grin was still placed on her face. She watched her mother graze for a moment before looking back to her sister when she heard her speak.

Shadowing Ruby

The flea bitten grey watched her younger full sister amused. Ruby still hadn't told either or their parents of the foal that would be coming next spring, luckily she wasn't showing yet. She knew Shetan would be showing up around the time of the birth of her foal but she wasn't looking forward to it at all. She continued watching Audra and returned to grin with her own.

Zira

The black filly yawned and seemed bored. She slowly began to wonder to the edges of the herd and look around. She wanted to just run, not know where she was going and just have at it. She didn't want a race, no, she just wanted to stretch her legs.

Apache

The stallion nuzzled Asha, then his daughter. He then spoke to his mare wondering over his own words. "Do you think she's bored with only us around and no one else?" he asked her as he looked down at his daughter pondering over the thought and wondering if he should try and find another mare or not.

((Hmm. Almost posted for everyone. Next time around I'll try doing everyone this was a lot of typing on a phone xP ))

Adara smiled and nuzzled her. "thank you."

Isis went closer to her mother confused. "what is wrong?"

Shadow looked up. "You're welcome." He reached his muzzle out to her.

Cavalia laughed watching them. "Do you think you are a stallion my Audra?"

Lucifer nudged her softly.
