"Did Dark like her mother?" Cheeska asked curiously as they ran. She was glad for the small amount of history between families that she could remember.

Shadow sighed. "No she prefered her father. She thought her Mom weak. In my opinion Haley was the strongest mare I ever met as a foal. I'd be proud to have her as my mother. I'm proud of my mother to don't get me wrong."

"So who was your mother?" Chesska asked him in response, curiousity in her voice.

Shadow sighed pain flashing in his eyes. "Calypso."

Cheeska saw how sad he looked. She nudged his side. "Good memories, the only thing I think of when I think of..." she trailed off and turned away, it still hurt to even know her father was dead.

Shadow nodded and looked off in the distrance.

Jade watched him move out of sight. Shifting her weight she headed for the mountins.

Dark looked after the fast moving horses, she was beginning to get antsy and was shifting around. Circling, she turned and looked after them, raising her head high as she whinnied after the three horses disappearing from her sight.

Shetan snorted as they sped ahead, apparently talking about something. He galloped behind, collected, until he saw them look away from each other. Smirking a bit, he slowly stretched out, sliding between the filly and the stallion. As he advanced on them, he was huffing loudly as he exerted himself more so then he had in any other race he had participated in. He'd already raced against Ruby earlier, but it had seemed to warm him up and loosen his muscles. So he slacked off a bit, settling in so he was shoulder to shoulder with the other two.

Cast cocked her head, curiously looking between the bird and the colt. "Well, let's hope it is the first of the options!" She said, her eyes slipping back to Thanatos before she viewed the bird again. "But, what lineage?"

Shakil went to the stream he had talked about and lowered his head to drink. He spent about ten minutes there then picked up a trot as he headed back to Jade, whinnying as he went.

Thanatos chuckled and nodded at that before he looked between her and the bird. "My father was Grimm Reaper. Pretty much anyone with anything surmising death in their name is related to me," he said not making the connection to Death Flame.

Cheeska felt him move between them. She rolled her eyes before hearing Dark. She looked over her shoulder and noticed how far they had ran. She was surprised, it didn't feel like she had been running this long. She managed to quicken her pace some, moving in front of both stallions and then turning widely and headig back towards the two mares. She didn't care if they followed, she wasn't one to leave her mother's side but for so long. She slowed, bouncing in every step, until she was walking. She caught her breath after a few minutes before leaning against her mother.
