Dark grumbled as she came back to her father. It's not that she wasn't happy, just a little disgruntled. "Father," she greeted, trotting past Aurara and Esroh, nodding to both of them. Once she stopped in front of him, she relayed what she had seen.

Ebony let out a string of hardy chuckles when his daughter finished her story. "Ha, the fool. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that I didn't get to kill him myself!" He nuzzled Dark. "What a chance, thanks Light." Still chuckling lightly he smiled over at Esroh. "I really do hope if you leave, Light, you'll check in with us often. See your new siblings." He winked at her and dismissed his daughter with a flick of his head.

Mia frowned at the sounds and when the two stallions returned she whinnied to them worriedly. She eyed Caxx and the other mare warily. She knew Caxx's nature, and had just had been lucky enough to stay out of her path before. She kept her head up and ears pricked, waiting for the third stallion, Magick, to follow out of the brush.

Esroh watched Dark silently but smiled when Ebony looked at her. She nuzzled him happily. "Many more sibblings I hope."
Zanzibar glanced at Mia and saw her watching for Magick. Pain filled his eyes."He won't be coming back Mia. My younger brother might join us though."
Shadow Wind looked at the beautifl grey mare with interest and sad eyes. "He was our father."

Zanzibar's eyes snapped back to Wicked. He studied her silently. "A pleasure to meet you Wicked. My name is Zanzibar. Your sister callled me Zanzy or Zanny."
Shadow Wind slowly approached the mare[Die]. "It's alright. I'm just glad I got to see him before he died. May I know your name?"

Yep, disgruntled was a good word for her. Dark walked out of the herd's sight after being thanked and dismissed. Once they couldn't see her, she began to gallop. The wind licked her sides as she thrust forward away from her father and into the hostile land of a Utasia in spring.

Ebony's smile widened to a grin. "As many as you want," he promised. Of course, it was always if Esroh wanted them or not. He watched silently as his daughter disappeared from view and he was again left alone with his band.

Mia seemed confused for a moment then the real meaning of his words sunk in. "Oh," was the only sound that escaped her. She quieted down and drifted, normally she would go to Magick for consoling after something like this, but he would never set foot in this clearing again. She hovered around ten feet away from Zanzibar, grazing lightly.

Wicked snorted quietly in laughter. Nonetheless, she dipped her head politely, and replied in her feminine, melodic voice: "The pleasure's all mine, Zanzibar. Would it be alright if I stayed with you and your herd for a while? I'm weary from traveling, you see; I come from very, very far away."
