Dark's hard smile flashed through something genuine at her brother's reaction. "You don't look bad yourself." She snipped before trotting forward, neck arched as she prepared for a fight. That was obviously what was going to happen. Glittering smirk back, she snaked her neck forward and nipped her night-black brother on the muzzle then arched her brow, cockily and silently asking him what he would do about it.

"Ah, good." ~Fades to Black~ Ebony trotted back up to her and rubbed his head against her side, smiling a bit. "I love to call you mine, as well as call myself yours." He told her and slung his head over her neck to nibble at her mane.

~Fades to Black~ Kairan grinned and trotted back up to her head, nuzzling along her side. "Love you," he breathed and playfully nipped her.

Mia glanced up from grazing and watched as Lucifer came back with another stallion. Sighing and thinking about how there were too many stallions around for her to relax, she swept her tail. As the heat scent flowered out, she daydreamed about her grown daughter. She'd probably be bred this year, she even wanted to be bred. He whinnied softly out across the herd, not really caring which of the resident stallions got to her first.

DDL went along with SpottedFlower and Jordan. He paused though, lifting his nose to trace all the heat scents that were wafting in the air, taunting him. He snorted, neck arched and looked about as his mare and Jordan continued ahead of him.

Zanzibar glanced at Mia and whinnied back. He trotted over to her and nudged her.
Esroh smiled happily. "I'm glad."
Nosferatu shook his head when she nipped him. "You know sis I really want to do something to you but brother shouldn't do that to their sisters." He shivered at her heat scent.

Now that almost tossed her off track. Her eyes widened at first then quickly returned a normal size. She almost lashed her tail in irritation, but instead shook her mane. "I thought you wanted to fight me," she pointed out.

Vela trotted along until she saw a small band. There was a loud, flashy colored chestnut appaloosa stallion(DDL) and two mares. A brown and white paint(SpottedFlower) and a dapple grey(Jordan). Since she had joined up then left her sister, she remembered how it was nice to have a band. And as she got older her lust for blood lessened until it was almost gone, just a whisper of it's former burning need. She was finally ready to settle down. Vela watched the stallion pause and let a whinny out before starting to jog toward him.

Mia nickered at Zanzibar and swished her tail side to side once before holding off to the side. She swung her rump toward his muzzle, basically only giving him one choice, as she looked back with pricked ears at him.

Zanzibarsmiled and and reared up behind her. He covered her for a few minutes. When he was done he walked over to her and nuzzled her neck.
Nosferatu watched her for a few minutes. "What happens if I win?"

Jordans heat smell was rather strong for a mare and she snorted a bit embarrassed about it. She made sure she was a good distances in front of ddl to be safe. She faltered when she heard the whinny and her ears went back as she saw the unfamiliar mare.

Yikes, this had gone an entirely different way then she had expected. She raised her brow and dropped her head a bit, looking up at him with a What, really? expression then wiped it off and replied, "If you win, you win." She shrugged and pulled her head back so her chin nearly bumped her chest, something she had learned from her father. She looked him over carefully, reassessing.

Mia shuffled her hooves slightly and let a fleeting smile appear. She hesitantly nuzzled him back then pulled away quickly, as if she was afraid she'd be nipped. Her darting eyes guardedly watched her stallion.

Burn had wandered off into one of the smaller forested parts of the mountain, not too far from the herd but out of their line of sight. She preferred to be alone lately, wishing they could go back to the good ol' days when it was just her, Zanzibar, Mia, and Magick in the herd. Things were getting crowded for her. But what could she do about it? Not a thing. Oh well... she'd adjust, eventually. The mare shook out her jet black mane, her pelt shining dimly in the thin rays of sunlight that managed to break through the thick canopy of trees. She silently walked around in the shadows, watching the tiny, dark figures in the distance. She didn't know when she'd go back, usually she was only out for a short while at a time but now that it was spring, she wasn't so sure how things would go with another foal. Of the two she already had, one was dead and the other turned on them. She didn't want to see how the third would turn out. It would probably be some weird cannibal that would try to eat them all alive. ...Ew. Besides, she hated foals. Apocalypse had turned out fairly decent, though, too bad he was killed. She snorted a bit, realizing that the smell of rain hung in the air and she glanced up at the pale gray clouds, noting that there would probably be a mild shower later today. Maybe I should stay here under the shelter of the trees... she thought, trying to convince herself that was a real reason not to head back. She wasn't afraid of getting wet. She sighed, and leaned against a nearby tree. She had been growing more distant, and bored, really. She wasn't as content as she was three or four years ago, the thought of abandoning Zanzibar and the others had even crossed her mind a few times, and sounded more appealing each time it did. She was even questioning if she had any feelings for her stallion anymore or not. Oh well, Zanzibar was still probably the best stallion out there. If she left, it probably wouldn't be long before she was picked up again by some lame bachelor. She closed her dark eyes, her eyes feeling a bit heavy, and at the moment, a nap didn't sound too bad.
