Shetan
"This is it boys, this is war. What are we waiting for?"
Shetan grunted at her blows, and drew back a bit to plan things out. But then she lashed her tail and spread her heat scent. With a sharp inhalation, he was suddenly back in the fray giving it as much as he had. He bucked out at Calcifer or whoever else was attacking him, and as Rogue went for his muzzle, he turned his head to the side to go for her jugular. It seemed like he latched on, but the Whiplash was trying to get in the way. The stallion paused his bucks to lift a front leg and pawed at his irritating son, getting way beyond pissed off.

Sweet Abandon
"I’m trying to hope with nothing to hold, I'm living on such sweet nothing."
Bandy smiled sleepily at him, still working on waking up. Suddenly, she squealed, her eyes growing wide and pain jolting her out of her sleepy state. With a slowly released breath, she looked up to him with worry in her eyes.
"I think your worries have been justified." She huffed as more pain rippled across her body, and she found that she didn't really want to move at all. So, instead of going off to be alone, she just settled herself close to her stallion and tried to stay calm.
~Fades to Black~ A little perlino pintaloosa filly lay by her side a few hours later. The mare nuzzled her first foal and nickered to her stallion, not daring to take her gaze off her child to see where Ace was.

Xanthos
"If our love's tragedy, why are you my remedy? If our love's insanity, why are you my clarity?"
Xanthos winced as well after seeing his physical recoil from her words. She reached down and nuzzled Mayhem, thinking over Scream's response. Her heart was aching all over. Galaxy's side was aching because it wanted to go to him and show him her foals, one of them might even be his foal. As for Scream's, it hurt because she knew he was causing him pain and she didn't want to do that. But unless she chose and committed to one stallion, one side of her would always be in pain. She sighed and nodded, looking back up to her current stallion.
"All right, thank you." She said softly, reaching forwards to nuzzle him gently and almost apologetically.

Corona Vestige
"I'm about to go astray, my inhibition's gone away."
Corona sadly looked after her son as he moved off a bit, but her attention was brought back to her father as he spoke. There was a filly under him surprisingly enough, and the mare just nodded numbly in response for him needing to tell her something that the foals shouldn't hear. She waited until he'd gotten rid of the filly, then moved over to him. She didn't touch him, but stood so her lowered head was by his withers and she was right next to him. However, just as she opened to mouth to confirm she was ready to hear what he had to say or see what he had to show her, the colt came up. The little appaloosa colt that said his father was being attacked came over and went to seek Relic's attention. Corona understood the colt's worries, and tried to relieve her own by throwing her head over her father's back like she'd seen her mother do.

Tin Solider
"Quote pending"
Prince had stopped as Santana hid beneath Relic, refusing to play around who he considered to be the only important horse in the herd. However, when she came back out, he thundered after her, quickly reaching her again and nipping her as if to say 'why'd you do that?'. The colt then dropped back a bit and pinned his ears before he tried to herd Santana towards Rune and Winter.

Yatimah's Challenge
"So fall down, I need you to trust me. Go easy, don't rush me."
Yatimah watched his extra politeness carefully, unsure of what was going on. But the minute he opened his muzzle it became clear. He'd sensed her irrational fear. It was just that she felt... exposed when she was alone with him, like he could see straight down to her soul and she was afraid that he might not like what he saw down there.
"Yeah, it's all fine." She said a bit quicker than she intended, smiling weakly. Ugh, why did she have to be so nervous around him? It didn't help that now after he'd been gone so long that she was now not used to the presence of other horses. She flicked her tail at the flies to try and take her mind off things, spreading her heat scent around as she did so.

The Colors of Falling
"And I've lost it all, fell today. It's all the same. I'm sorry, oh, I'm sorry no."
Oaka smiled at her daughter's recap, and figured that she had indeed left with her father. To hear that she had two grandchildren by Sin only added to the 'old' factor. But still, Oaka had some surprises of her own for Sin.
"Well, I'm glad you're happy." Without Sin needing to ask, Oaka began to cover her side of the deal.
"I don't know if you knew this, but your father managed to find me last spring shortly before he," she paused, and was surprised at the emotion welling up in her throat.
"He died, with me and he just wanted you to know that he loved you and your sisters." She said as she reached out and nuzzled Sin with a sad smile.
"But on a bit of a happier note, you're going to have a half sibling next spring." She looked back to Poesis, though the refreshed sadness over Brumby's death was still lingering in her mind. The silver black paint had decided against informing Sin that her new stallion was Brumby's long time rival, figuring that Sin finding out her father was dead would be enough news.

Sahara quickly ran back to her mother, deciding that next to Bijoux was the safest place to be as the stallions ran off. The filly nuzzled her mother back instinctively, then nestled herself into Bijoux's side for comfort as the fight picked up and she heard her father's cries.
Sandman felt relief flood him as Jamil showed up to help. He let his concentration lapse for a moment in order to look to see if his filly was out of harm's way. She was safe, but now one of the cougar's had landed on his back. The stallion bucked furiously, and ended up misplacing one of his front feet and going down. The sooty stallion rolled on top of the cougar, and the cat in turn went crazy as it tried to avoid being crushed. At the end of it, Sandman was left huffing on the ground, and the one cougar was nearly dead. The stallion was about dead himself though, having had to deal with both cats before Jamil showed up. His neck was pouring blood from multiple injuries and his legs did not take the fall easily.
(Dark + foal, and Deborah's foal will hopefully be in the next post.)
