Calcifer lashed out him.

Ginger shook her head/. "Whiplash is Shetan's but he acts nothing like him. Lotus is Relic's but you'll never know it by how she acts now."

Ranger looked at his father. "Daddah."

Santana stepped back but calmed down. She smiled and nuzzled him back in return.

Marvel nodded, smiling softly. "Yes, I think so. You're quiet and patient... You won't be overprotective, but won't let the little one get into too much trouble either." The stallion nickered, gently nuzzle Zecora's cheek.

Sin let out a happy whinny and galloped towards her mother, meeting her half-way. She slowed to a halt just in front of the mare, letting out a joyful snort before leaning in and nuzzling her cheek. "Mother..." She nickered happily, paying no mind to the stallion in the background.

Intent let himself calm just a bit, enough to get his breath back, but the foal was still terrified and desperately worried for his father. "A cougar. In the woods... It got my dad." He looked at Relic pleadingly, not sure what else he could do if the stallion didn't help him.

He listened to the colt explain. The stallion looked back to his mares then at Intent. "Where's your mother?" He asked him. Relic couldn't go anywhere far from his mares.

"I... Don't know. Dad wanted to take me exploring, and she said she was going to roam a bit..." Just then, the colt's stomach growled, reminding him how hungry he was on top of his misery.

Relic looked back to his mares thoughtfully. "Stay here and rest, I'll help you find your parents soon. You're in no condition to be on your own." He explained to the colt and then gently nudged him towards the herd.

Intent opened his mouth, intending to argue, but decided that in this situation it may not be wise. Instead, he let himself be guided over to the mares, so tired he was tripping over himself.

Once Relic thought they were close enough, he stopped and gently pulled Intent's mane. "Get some rest. You need it." The stallion said to him before he moved off and slightly kept himself separated from his herd and grazed, still dwelling on how exactly to tell Corona about her mother.

Zecora nuzzled him. "Thank you."

Marvel smiled at her. "You're welcome. But it's the truth. Now, are you ready to go back to the herd?" The buckskin nickered, glancing towards the main clearing.

Intent just nodded sleepily before collapsing into a heap at the edge of the herd, falling into a deep, dreamless sleep.

Surprisingly the stallion stayed rather close to the colt, keeping an eye on him along with zoning out into his consuming thoughts. Relic allowed himself to relax somewhat with everything going through his head at once. He simply needed to organize his thoughts and deal with one thing at a time, he had yet to really notice Rune was back
