Romeo gave a little chuckle. "I guess," he added, looking over at the rest of the lake. Then his gaze fell upon the land, and he an idea. "Race you!" he shouted, pointing over at the shore. He grinned slightly, trying to gallop in the water, eager to be the first one.

Artec was wading through the water. It didn't work so he swam out and then galloped ahead. Though when he caught up with Romeo, they were neck and neck!

Romeo laughed, sticking his tongue out at him. He totally forgot about all the surroundings around him, his was having so much fun! Soon, both of the colts were neck to neck, eager to win. "I'm going to beat you!" he chuckled, using some of his prancing techniques to get on faster. But that didn't work, because they both set foot on land at the same time. "If I just had that one prance, you would of gone crying to your mother!" he laughed, teasing him. "Just kidding, you're my new buddy," the chestnut tobiano added, rolling on the shore with laughter.

Artec smiled. "Your my first ever friend! And the bestest anyone could ever have! Oh no... Mother and Father will be crazy when they find out I'm here... Oh well! I'll go back later. Hey... Do you have any.. Parents?" Artec asked cautiously.

Grace woke up, to the sound of some colts playing around. She sighed and muzzled her newborn. Sunny would be able to join them in their silly games soon.

Sunny twitched in her sleep and suddenly bolted upright, for she was having a nightmare. The first thing she saw when she woke up were some other colts playing. She looked at her mom. When Grace nodded slowly, she trotted daintily over to them. "Hiya. What's up?"
