Somewhere on this world, a train containing horses from all walks of life, horses about to be shipped all over the globe—crashed. The train swerved, got off the rails and crashed near the grand canyon, distant from human civilization. The surviving horses rounded up and thought what to do next. Since they don’t know what to do and they don’t know how to get back to their breeders or owners, they decided to live free—wild horses. The newly formed herd ventured the verdant forest, and to their surprise, beyond it was a immense, secluded valley filled with everything a horse needs—rolling green meadows, an orchard filled with crunchy apples and other fruits, shelter inside a cave that can serve as a stable, and of course, a coursing river. Mountains protect this vast paradise away from man’s prying eyes, making this place perfect for the horses to start anew. They called it: “The Grand Canyon Herd”since the grand canyone wa snear here.Since the surviving horses were quite many, and the valley is spacious for only one herd to manage it, the herd was split—they changed to their names being the North Canyon herd, the South canyon herd and The Grand Canyon herd which is the biggest Herd. The herds split the valley to mark their territory, chose their leaders, made their laws and rules and continued to live their lives, this time as wild, free horses. Still, they can’t shake a feeling that something, or someone was watching over them…
But battles becaome more aggresive, mares argue, foals practice fighting and stallions attack and kill...
But as forbidden love and secret friendships occur between the herds, is there ever a chance to regain peace? What secrets does the Grand Canyon hold? Will you be the one to discover these mysteries?
The Gand Canyon territory
The Wildflower meadow is a beautiful place, brimming with life and colors. The South Canyon Herd owns this part of the valley. Wildflowers thrive here and spread their heavy perfume. There are also sparse strands of pine trees and some fruit trees. The Northern Valley horses usually do their morning and afternoon activities here here.
Further into the meadow you will find the the High mouthed caves The mouth of the cave faces east, that's why the horses always know whether if it's morning or not. Inside the cave is spacious and the horses filled the cave floor with dried up grass and other dry leaves to make them comfortable.
Meanwhile, the South Canyon herd has the grass and the forest serves as the Southern Herd's grazing area. The Southern Grassland is rather the plain-looking field, but the Southern Forest is lush and broad. The Southern Forest is filled with foliage and fruit-bearing trees, making this ideal for a walk.
The stone stable is the Southern Valley Herd's home. It looks like the ruins of an old stable, but it is clear that whoever built it deserted this place thousands of years ago. It is huge though, filled with weathered roofs yet it can withstand the rain and be strategical in times of war.
The Grand Canyon Herd owns a wide plain of sweet lush grass with the odd apple tree here and there,it has a small bit of forest surronding a small lake with lush grass and they also live on the grand canyon and there is caves and stone like buidlings for them. On the south there is a bit of forest and the river behnd that and this is supposed to have owlves and hunters in it and on the north side it has a small bit of river so it is easy to cross but itno another herds territory.
And fianlly there is
The Grand canyon River courses throughout the whole valley. A part of it flows through the Wildflower Meadow and the Southern Grasslands and goes through the whole of The Grand Canyon's herd leading itno the lake maknig a saml lwaterfall. It is the river that divides the territories. To reach the South Canyon herd you must wade into its thigh-deep waters and get past the wolves that are supposdly in the foret uncluding hutners but on the other side ther eis a samll thin strip of water easy enough for a foal to get to the other side but there is humans around this river and it leads into the other herds territotrs.
