Hearing angry voices ahead, Jazz wondered what was up. Had they picked a bad time to see the kits. Sniffing the air Jazz picked up Misty's and Shadow's scent. Pausing he stopped to listen to their conversation.

Sky stopped beside Jazz, and Rose stopped beside Sky. "What's wrong? What's going on?" Rose asked. Sky lifted her nose, trying to scent whatever Jazz might've scented. Sky scented kits, and Misty and Shadow. "Well if they're there, lets go!" Sky said. Rose stuck her paw straight out in front of Sky, not letting her go any further. "Can't you hear them arguing? It's best to leave them alone and sort things out, then go to see the kits then. Right Jazz?" Rose said, glancing at Jazz.

Shadow moaned with delight as he scoured the snake.

Jazz flicked his ear and nodded, he was worried about the kits. He wondered if they were near their parents while they were fighting.

Shadow yawned and burped lightly after his huge meal. Fat and well fed, he headed back out into the city.
