Kasai yelped in her sleep loudly. A tear strummed down her cheek.

IN THE DREAM

Kasai yelped as Blade had bit onto her neck. She pleaded him to stop but soon enough he snapped her neck.

Kasai awoke with a jump. She ran out of the dog house and away from it thinking the dream was real besides when she had died. SHe thought that Blade really did bite down and tried to kill her.

Blade suddenly made a painful caterwaul when in his dream he realized all the kittens were dead, and so was Kasai. He shot up, his pelt sweaty. He staggered out of the den, almost blinded by the haunting dreams that were still flashing around in his brain.

Kasai kept running. She found herself in the field and she curled up in an old quail hole.

Panting, Blade looked wildly around for Kasai. "Kasai!!" he wailed, hoping that she was alive.

Kasai just stayed put. She needed time to think. Everything was happening so fast she had to play it all again in her head to make sense of it.

Blade panted more and hung his head down, eXhausted both emotionally and pysically.

After a few minutes Kasai planned things out. She stood and walked back into the city.

Blade kneeled down, dizzy.

Kasai made it back towards the den with tears stained on her cheeks.

Blade staggers over to her. "I thought you were..." he choked out.
