The bitter winter cold whispered through the trees, hissing it's song as it stung your nose. Snow flew at your fur like ice shards, feeling as if they were rocks. You pinned your ears at the bitter winter night. You looked up at the clouds that enabled the moons light to shine down, hidding the stars with it. You lifted your head and opened your eyes partly, so the snow couldn't blind you. You smelt the sweet smell of a mouse. You immediately crouched down and jumped on the defenseless mouse, bitting into it, letting the sweet taste of it's blood fill your mouth. "Thats my mouse." You heard the sound of growling as you jumped up and saw gold eyes. "Who are you?" He questioned, growling. "I-I..."
"Leave him alone." You heard a more gentle voice come from beyond the bushes. You crouched down, so the wind was blocked by the trunk of a large pine tree. You opened your eyes, seeing two large tom-cats. One was large, and had a impossible muscle build for the long winter that had been lasting for two moons know. The other was a more lean tom, but he was larger in height. He was a dark brown tabby and his dark eyes were hidden with the shadows of the night.
"Whats your name?" The lean tom asked smoothly. "Ummm..." You muttered, who was this tom? Why was he so inerested in a loner... You thought. "It'll come in time, you'll learn to thank me." The lean tom smiled, "But for now, you must be cold, come. We'll give you a place to rest and a nice meal to eat." The balck tom growled at his leader who glared at him in discipline. The tom sat on his haunches. "Only, if you'll join my clan."

"Join us."
