You grew up. From the time you were born, you had always heard of the Rural Cat Paradise. As rumors had said, it was a big farm. The owner passed away, but his wife still owns it. Since he died, the woman filled the whole place with cats to cover her trauma and keep her from being lonely. The woman loves her cats, and puts food out for most of them. Not all are brought in by her. Others came in from clans(but aren't in them) or are lone cats that wandered in. No matter what backstory they had, this place was open for all domestic felines. Cats that even live next door find themselves running here.
You are a cat. But not just any. You now live on a 100 acre piece of land. The wife is practically a millionaire now, because her parents are deceased and fortunately: they were famous celebrities. She has been running the whole farm, filling it with cats for about 5 years now. Cats keep feeding,breeding,fighting, and dominating, so she just keeps buying land for them. And the woman lives so far out that no one can find her now. The nearest town doesn't know she's even living, or who inherited all that money.
As a cat, all you'd have to do is claim your dominance here. Or become the strongest male's mate. Now that there are so many, various cats, toms are forming little bands(clans) of their own. They have been marking territories and fighting constantly for it all. Food is scarce for the lazy cats, so they have to push themselves up and go hunt every once in a while. Don't be surprised if you find huge stashes of cat food around the house, barn, or land. (it gets a little crazy ^.^)
