Navajo watched Carson, she smiled.

"I used to be in another herd. The daughter of the lead stallion and mare. I left at age to before I could be bred. I've been on my own for about a year now." Apache said.

Carson felt her eyes on him and looked back over at her, smiling lightly. "And what's your name, dear?"

Phoebe couldn't keep the smile from slipping onto her face as she gently took the apple in her teeth, breaking it in half so he had some too. Their muzzles brushed lightly when she dd so, but Phoebe paid no mind, pulling back and crunching her half of the apple happly.

Storm ate the half she had let him keep. When he was done he smiled, "Just thought I should help out some." he said to her. "Now, would you like to come with me?" he asked her curiously.

Carson smiled at Navajo. "Navajo.. Thats a lovely name, dear. Now tell me, why would such a beautiful, young mare be out here, herdless?"

Phoebe smiled softly, nodding her head lightly as she flicked her tail. "Well, thank you then. And sure, I'll come with you. I'd like to look around the territory anyways."
