Kapu's ears pricked up when the fae jumped over a fairly large snow pile. He stopped just before reaching it, his eyes narrowing as he inspected it. He wondered what was concealed beneath it, though seeing her jump over it led him to believe that it was something not meant to be walked over. He sniffed slightly at the snow, trying to catch a scent of sorts, but the frozen precipitation made that impossible, masking the scent from his powerful nose. With a sigh he stepped back a few paces and leapt over it as well, a soft grunt escaping him when he landed safely on the other side.
His attention returned to the fae weaving her way through the tall pines in front of him. He rolled his eyes at her comment, an amused expression on his muzzle. "Loner is such a nondescriptive term, but if you think it sounded pleasant then I have nothing against you," he called back, not having to raise his voice as much due to the cover the trees provided from the wind. The chilling wind was no longer ruffling his fur as it had been earlier while they were out in the open. Now it was just a cool breeze that wound its' way through the trees every so often. He could handle the breeze, but he had no affection for the blizzard force winds that were bound to appear at any minute.
The black brute raised an amused eyebrow when she shot him 'the look'. A soft smile appeared on his muzzle when he realized that she was looking rather cute with that expression on her face. He covered a chuckle with a low grunt, as if he were clearing his throat, and he quickly looked away, the ears atop his head flicking almost self-consciously. His ears turned in her direction when she mentioned her name. "Athena," he murmured, testing the name on his tongue. Amber eyes flashed up, glancing around them as the snow penetrated the trees, falling down on the small procession of wolves. Kapu's lips curled at the sight of it, knowing that the blizzard was going to show its' true colors sooner rather than later. He glanced up at Athena, wondering just how far away from her pack's camp they were. They had been traveling for more than a few minutes, and he hoped that they were close. Getting lost in a blizzard was not at the top of his 'to do' list.
((There are pros and cons to having your mother cut your hair. The pros are that she does it right, and the cons are that she can cut off however much she wants Dx I just had her cut mine....and it's soooooo short! =[))
