Introduction

"Please, spare me," a small white female pleaded, her shoulders crushed beneath the weight of the alpha as he pinned her to the ground. In the background, much chaos was being spared between the pack members concerning her being pinned.
"Tell me why I should, Emerald," the alpha, Stone, snarled in her face, nearly ready to tear into her throat for all she had caused in his pack. She had come into the pack so innocently and seemed to have fallen in love with one of the pack members. Little had he known, right under his nose she had been successfully convincing some of his pack members to leave his pack to start a new one with her. She was planning to take over his pack and he had overheard her conversation between her and a few other wolves that led to this moment, him ready to kill her.
"Because of my pups," answered Emerald somberly, referring to her unborn pups. "If you kill me you'll kill at least one innocent life. Do you want to kill an innocent life?" she asked him, her tone icy.
Stone considered what she had said for a moment. He knew she was using them as a way to live, but he could hardly live with himself if he killed innocent lives. He growled menacingly at her, his long canines bared near her throat. He closed his eyes tightly before he stepped off of her. He looked down at the ground. "Go," he said. "Go and don't come back," he demanded in a growl, looking up at her.
Emerald smiled an icy smile as Stone stepped off of her. She got up to her paws and met his glare with a smirk. "I thought you might say that," she told him before looking out to the violently fighting wolves around them, particularly the wolves she had convinced to join her. "You may go on with your lives," she said in case anyone would hear. She turned to her mate and winked a sparkling emerald eye at him, slyly smiling before she turned and padded off into the forest, leaving as told.

----

Since then, Stone killed Emerald's mate and his loyal pack members killed off the members that had wanted to join Emerald. He was left with his mate and a few loyal members who survived the fighting, soon he and his mate passing on because of their older age. His son took his place and has ruled over the small pack since, looking for some new members to join. Though, little does he know that Emerald may be out of the picture, but there is a wolf out there closer than he thinks. The only daughter who listened to her mother, Emerald, lurks within the forest and her name is Winter. Pretty, cunning, smart, she is a wolf to contend with. She follows in her mother's footsteps with a different tactic. She chooses to be a loner and prowl the outskirts of the territory to wait and see who she can come across and convince to perhaps ditch their pack for her, thus doing as her mother wanted and take over the pack. Will you fall for her trap or will you stay loyal to the pack?

Territory

The territory the pack dwells on is a vast one, ranging for many square miles. Most of what the territory consists of is trees, most of which are deciduous and shed brilliantly colored leaves in the fall, leaving them bare and gray for the winter. Throughout the territory there are many small streams, but the only river in the territory exists on the border of their territory. If you cross it you have exited the territory so, it is advisable to be cautious of other wolves there because of the abundant water it has. It is, however, a slow moving river most of the year and a great place to swim. Few clearings exist among the abundant trees, leaving their den site and camp rather close to the border of the territory in one of the only clearing large enough to hold a den site where wolves can gather. Towards one side of the clearing there is a fallen that lays propped up by a large rock where the alpha holds meetings. Where the tree was uprooted the alpha made himself a den that was nearly dug up for him because of the tree.

Season and Weather

The season is autumn. Leaves are turning colors as a small breeze rustles them. The air temperature is mild and it is a clear day.

Rules

1. This is a realistic wolf role play. No weird colored wolves or wolves with powers. Keep your wolf normal.
2. Please, no Mary-Sue's or Gary-Stu's. Every wolf has their flaws. No ridiculously successful hunts and when fighting you can't kill the other character in one move. Actually, don't kill the character unless you have permission from their role player. Give the other player a chance to fight back and your wolf shouldn't dodge every attack.
3. When mating or birthing, please just do a time skip.
4. When talking out of character, please use brackets or OOC to let us know that you are talking out of character.
5. Please, no foul language at all, not even if you star it out.
6. This is a literate role play so, I expect at least six sentences per character. I am looking for very nice and very descriptive paragraphs. Of course, I do understand writer's block and typos, but please don't use writer's block as an excuse often.
7. If you disobey the rules I have the right to kick you out of the role play.

As for the rules, that's it for now. Have fun!

My characters

Name: Slash of the Bear's Claw
Nickname: "Usually I am referred to as Claw."
Age: Six years
Gender: Male
Crush: "A crush? No, I don't have a crush."
Mate: "I have pondered the thought of having a mate before. I wouldn't mind one if I met the right wolf."
Pups: "I have no pups."
Rank: "I am the alpha male of my pack."
Personality: Claw is a wolf who was cut out for leading, though he is certainly no perfect wolf. His better quality is his kindness. He is indeed a very kind wolf who can have compassion over another wolf. He is good at coming up with quick plans, though no always are those plans flawless. He is a pretty optimistic wolf, usually not looking on the downside of situations and he tends to try and keep his pack members positive. He is friendly and quite the conversationalist, being a pretty likable wolf in general. Though he is a great conversationalist, he is not the most open book around, though he is not closed up. He expresses emotions decently and would usually tell a wolf how he was feeling if they asked. Though Claw is an overall nice wolf, he has an easily flared temper that he finds difficult to control. His temper often gets the better of him, though after he has calms down he is quick to apologize for his temper.
History: Claw has a fairly uninteresting, born in the pack he now leads. He was born the alpha's son with another brother and two sisters. He grew up knowing this, though he wasn't particularly interested in becoming the alpha. He was just fortunate to be younger than his brother. He grew up peacefully, being three years of age when a wolf named Emerald tried to take over the pack. His father made her leave, but she had apparently talked many of the pack members into joining her and when she left, they were angry and wanted to kill Stone, his father, before taking off with Emerald. He, one of the loyal pack members to his father ended up fighting against their rogue members along with the rest of the loyal members. By the time the fight was over, he along with a few others were the only ones alive, his brother being one of the wolves to have died. He mourned the loss of his brother before his parents soon passed away, leaving him to be the alpha male. Despite the fact he didn't want to be the alpha, he took his duties seriously and strove to find new members to join his small pack.
Other:
Appearance: Claw is an average sized male, averagely muscular and averagely tall. There is nothing particularly special about Claw's appearance that would make a wolf look twice at him. His only distinguishable feature is he thick fur coat that is very soft and plush, almost like cotton. It leaves his coat easily soaked by water when it rains and it usually takes him a while to dry off after getting wet. His fur is completely brown and very rich in color. His tail is of average length, his fur making it seem much thicker and plumy. As for his eyes, they are a bright yellow that glows against his darker pelt.

Name: Hukawi ( Huk-eye ) of the Indian Tribes
Nickname: "Call me Huk or Hukawi if you'd rather."
Age: Five years
Gender: Male
Crush: "I have no crush."
Mate: "I'm not particularly looking for one. In order to best serve my pack I figure I should have a mate, nor do I need one."
Pups: "I have no pups."
Rank: "I am honored to be serving my pack as the beta male."
Personality: Huk is a notably strict wolf towards him an others. If you don't do as he directs, he almost never fails to get on you for it, though he is not bossy. He is a very disciplined wolf with himself and he has much self control, helping him to make better decisions. When leading as the beta male, he can be rather militant and is very direct while giving orders to try and keep confusion minimal. He can seem rather aloof and distant towards other and that would be true. He is in fact, a rather aloof wolf who is not so social. He obviously doesn't like to talk much, and he is usually the one to be listening unless giving orders. He is a reliable and trustworthy wolf that another could trust with their life. Loyalty is one of Huk's exceptional qualities and he wouldn't leave your side even if it meant he would die as well. He is not one to let others down if he can help it. Huk has a kind heart towards others and he can be compassionate towards others, but if they got themselves into a bad situation after being warned he will only give you a cold shoulder. He is a respectful wolf towards others, higher or lower ranking than him, though it does not mean he will let a wolf of lower rank tell him what to do.
History: Though Huk's name suggests he comes from a tribe of Indians, he was born in the pack he is in today. His ancestors, however, did come from a tribe of Indians who kept wolves for protection. He was born to two pack members, only having a sister for company. He grew up knowing the pack well by mostly observing them rather than talking. He only really spent time with his parents and sister. He was only around six months of age when his mother sadly died after a hunting accident. He was left crushed, comforting his sister the best he could. He was fortunate that his father was still living so, he still had someone to care for him. However, Vera had reached out to him during that time and he became quickly attached to her. She quickly became something like a second mother to him. He grew up loving her dearly. By the time he was two, a newer wolf named Emerald entered the pack, eventually stirring up trouble within the pack by trying to get wolves to leave with her and take Stone's pack down. That alone was devastating, but after Stone kicked Emerald out and they were left to kill the pack members that wanted to follow her, Huk figured out that his sister was one of the wolves who wanted to follow Emerald. He had to kill her and he did. He did it for the pack and shoved his feelings aside, a killer of his own sister. He killed many other pack members he grew up knowing, left heart broken after the fight was over. He had killed so many wolves that he had known and many still loyal pack members had died. He was just lucky that Vera had survived. Besides her, the two alphas remained and one of their sons, Claw. He, of the few wolves remaining was awarded beta male for his loyalties to the alpha after it was realized he had turned against his sister for the better of the pack. At first, his rank came as a burden and a reminder that he had killed his sister, though Vera eventually helped him enough for him to get over it. Once he did get over it, he was honored to be the beta male and strove to do his best to serve the pack.
Other:
Appearance: Huk is a rather broad and well muscled male and it shows through his fur, though he is not the tallest wolf around for his size, barely standing at the height for the average male wolf. His broad and muscular shoulders slim down to thick and partially stocky legs that help carry him in long and muscular strides. His paws are thick and wide, usually leaving behind some sort of print on the ground. Overlapping his muscular build is a thick layer of coarse fur with may variations of color. Most of his underbelly, including the insides of his legs and chest are white. Also white are his paws, varying from just the tip of the toe to coming nearly up to his elbow. The rest of his fur consists of a definite brown in color, coming close to matching the bark of trees in the spring. The brown fades and strengthens throughout his coat, it being darkest as it becomes closer to his spine. He has enough stray black hairs to be noticed among his mostly brown coat, the hairs seeming to form diamond shaped rings that loosen as the spread out from the center of his back. His eyes almost match his coat color, being a dusty brown in color.

Name: Veralidaine of a Royal Descent
Nickname: "Please, call me Vera."
Age: Nine years
Gender: Female
Crush: "I've been there. I'd rather not be there again."
Mate: "I almost had one once. I don't think I could love another wolf enough to want him to be my mate."
Pups: "I love them. I have none of my own, though."
Rank: "I am the pup sitter of the pack."
Personality: Vera is perhaps one of the sweetest, mild tempered wolves you could come across. She is a very helpful aging female and usually goes out of her way to help another, regardless as to whether they got them self into the jam or not. She is very easily used and she knows that, but she pays no heed to that fact that wolves might use her because of her kindness. She is a startlingly calm and docile wolf, able to keep her head in chaos in some hectic situations. She is a wise wolf through trial and error who can often answer a question a wolf asks her, acting as the word of advise for the pack sometimes. She is a rather soft spoken female who knows how to lay down the facts lightly to another wolf, hardly able to be blunt. She does enjoy a good chat, though she is older and most younger wolves aren't interested in socializing with her. She is able to cope well with that fact and usually tends to just watch, understand that most wolves have a life outside of talking to a near elder. She is a wolf who doesn't do well when solitary, enjoying a decently sized group around her. She is a pretty open book and if you ask her about her past she'll tell you it with little hesitation. She is still saddened by her past to an extent, but she has since gotten over the initial heartbreak and is a fairly content and happy wolf.
History: Vera was born into a very large and successful pack, being born to the alphas of the pack with three sisters, her being the eldest of them. Her pack was very strict about ranks and superiority over others which is half the reason she got her name. She grew up heiress to the alpha position and she actually became quite conceited at a young age. She would pay no heed to anyone lower than the beta pups, not that they liked her much. She was very much a kiss my paw kind of wolf and that didn't lessen as she grew older, but only got worse. She was two years of age when she wandered into the forest alone, fed up with dealing with the lesser wolves of the pack. She intended on taking a break from them only to find that she wasn't alone. A lone male wolf had been following her, a very friendly fellow, but scum in her opinion. She only turned her cheek to him despite the fact he had only wanted to chat. She told him he had no right to talk to a royal wolf such as herself and she left him, going back to her pack. She never thought she would see him again, but the next time she ventured into the forest he came to her again. Several times this happened and she eventually found herself having feelings for the wolf, unable to turn her cheek to him eventually. She knew it was unbecoming of a wolf like her to be hanging around a scummy loner and her parents would be mortified that she was seeing him, but it seemed too late for her. She loved the wolf. Often times she would go out into the forest and spend hours with him, losing track of time. Eventually her parents became suspicious and one of the betas soon caught her with the lone wolf. She didn't realize that, though, until her parents and every warrior within the pack showed up and chased the male away with the intent to kill him. Her parents stayed behind and she was scolded harshly and she did little but plead that they call back the warriors where they might not kill the wolf she had become so fond of. They didn't listen to her and she was forced back to the pack against her will. The moment she thought she was able to escape, she did, frantically looking for the male that she loved. Hours passed and she was farther out into the forest than she had ever been before. By dusk, the male appeared again, still alive. Elated, she greeted him heartily and she told him she no longer cared for her pack and wanted to start one with him. Before they became mates, her pack had located them. The male told her to run and that he would be fine and she did run. She ran because he told her to and ran because of her parents who would drag her back to her pack. Once she crossed a river she stopped, exhausted. She waited at her spot for days, calling for him sometimes. He never did come back. Heartbroken, she left the spot where she had been waiting for him. Her experience changed her and she was no longer the rude wolf she had been. It was lucky because she had discovered that the river she had crossed was a border to a territory and she was discovered by a wolf named Stone, the alpha of a pack. She readily joined his pack and lived their ever since as the pup sitter. She had a particular attachment to a little pup name Hukawi who once he was six months old lost his mother. She took him under her wing and he seemed to quickly grow much fonder of her, them becoming very close. When a wolf named Emerald joined the pack and tried to take over, a large battle was spurred and she was forced to kill of many pack members to her dismay. Her, along with Huk, Claw, and the alpha couple were the only survivors of the pack that didn't want to leave with Emerald. She was just glad Huk was alright. Since then, she has been living in the very small pack, eventually only containing her, Huk, and Claw.
Other: Every so often, Vera can be found along the river where she had been waiting for her love to find her, just reflecting back on the memories she shared with him.
Appearance: Vera is a very average sized female wolf, yet she has a definite dainty look about herself and a very becoming look for an aging female that is played up subconsciously by her from her days being trained to look regal in her gestures. Her fur still has a nice fluff to it and is rather plush. She used to be a black wolf, but with age that changed. Her black pelt has gone one of the lightest shades of silver, being almost white on color. Still, some black fur remains such as on the rims of her ears and the tip of her tail. Other than that she is a very light silver in color and a very pretty female for her age. Her tail is longer than average and almost always having an extra amount of fluff to it. Her eyes are a yellow-green in color, easily revealing her sweet and soft heart.

Name: Winter's First Icy Kiss
Nickname: "I prefer to be called Winter."
Age: Four years
Gender: Female
Crush: "I have no crush? What is the point of one?"
Mate: "I don't really care. Whoever asks me first, probably. I don't have to love them. They just would have to join me in starting a pack."
Pups: "If I ever get a mate and that's what he wants, sure I'll try and have some. As long as he's kept on my side, I don't think I'd really care."
Rank: "I am a loner by choice. If you haven't already guessed, I'm interested in starting a pack, though."
Personality: Winter is a substantially smart female with much wits. Cunning and sly, deception is a natural ability of hers. She is a determined wolf, needing to be killed before she would back down. She has little temper, and usually plays things cool. A very illusive and aloof wolf, she easily lurks without being noticed. She is not a brave heart, and is actually rather cowardly, not doing so well in fights. She has a bit of a vanity issue, taking great pride in her wonderful white coat. She is as icy as her mother, a wolf with a shallow heart and most likely unable to truly love another wolf.
History: Winter was born to Emerald as a loner, four siblings to spare. She had a brother and the rest were sisters. She never particularly cared for her siblings and would usually toss them to the wind. She was closest to her mother, listening to her as she told her about how she would make a great alpha. As she aged, she had a mind set that she was to take over the pack that her mother had tried. Of course, she didn't want her siblings to get in the way so, she killed them with her mother's help. When her mother left her, Winter stayed on the outskirts of the pack's territory, waiting to see who might come across her and who she might be able to convince to join her in taking over the pack.
Other:
Appearance: Winter is a near beautiful wolf, though perhaps not even half as beautiful as her mother. She is small and short, very petite compared to the average wolf. Her body is slender and well shaped, a near perfect example as to how a wolf should be shaped. When she walks, her white plumy fur bounces with each step. Her fur is very thick, yet fine and sparkles in the sun in a bedazzling manner like a blanket of snow. Her eyes are a very deep brown in color, nearly black and her femininely featured face has many charming expressions that she can play across it.

Vivante Morte
Nickname:
Viv, Jagger
Age:
6 years old
Gender:
Female
Crush:
"Never"
Mate:
Do you think I'm crazy?"
Pups:
"I'll just kill 'em"
Rank:
"Lead fighter."
Personality:
This is like one of those moments when your like, she looks weak. I can take her! Fail. Your a failure, you just lost "Whant Whant Whant" I think it goes like that. GAME OVER! You were just killed -.- She goes by the saying "You have to kill to be at the top." Ooo, i made that up! Is it creative? Anywho she will kill you if she got the chance, if you can out run her. Your going to live, unless you die by the wounds she has caused on you. What i am trying to say, just turn around. Ignore her, don't take a step closer. [Hint, she isn't that fast of a runner]

That female who will start a fight over anything, that female who will, kill you. Also, she is that female that doesn't want pups... She thinks brutes are just, a waist of time. There is no point for them. All they want is to have pups, she does like to have a good fight with them once in a while..

The Vixen does go after anything she wants,
Image
if its killing smomeone, or just wanting to have some good, fighting fun. She does take joy in fighting, it is one of her specialities. She does like the higher ranks when she joins a pack, but then if she won't get her high rank, she will be a loner. The only high rank she will take, is Beta Female. Alpha is way to much work for her. The one thing she hates about being alpha, is all the other wolves coming up to you, and the males trying to flirt with you because they are rank lovers... Then, she hates females, all they do is, "Oh my, I love you. Want to be mates? That gets on her nerves! She loves the alphas who put their paw down, tell them what needs to be done, and the alpha who has the nerves to kick a rank lover out of the pack...[WIP]

history: Okay, where shall i start? At the blood viscous fight? Or when she was born?

Hmm, I'ma start when she was born, well Jagger was the first female born in 8 generations of all brutes. So, you know, its hard having everyone in your family being all brutes. Ya know? Well, any who, when Jagger was just, about a year old, she was banned out of the pack, to many fights, to many winnings, of her. She was a powerful, and most beautiful wolf, her black pelt was amazingly shinny. After a week or so she met a brute, I'm not saying she fell in love with him, but he sure fell in love with her. They had pups, Jagger just had enough of them, so she killed them. Sad, right? Well, this is Jagger we are talking about, after a couple years on her own, when she was 2. So, just a year. She started getting into more fights, fighting more brutes, taking on other animals. One day, she was dumb enough to take on a full grown grizzly bear. By this time, Jagger already had her ear missing, scars everywhere on her body, right? So, she was eating, and a bear walked up to her, snarling and everything. With a swipe of the paw, Jagger had the "scar" [Oh meh gosh!] that went along her face, across her right eye, making her blind in that eye, and down to her noes. She took the challenge, they faught, for a long time. Jagger ended up, obviously loosing, what wolf could take on a bear, right? That's just the beginning, she hadn't lost her tail yet ;D not going to say what happened.[WIP]

Other:
Nope.
Appearance:
Image
Pshh, Jagger. Is the most beautiful wolf in the world! Kidding! I'd say Jagger, looks like a zombie. She is a beat up wolf, her fangs are stained red with blood, along with her muzzle as well. Her once beautiful black pelt, is now, just a black, white and tan colored pelt. Scars everywhere on her body, she has a large gash on her left leg, it won't heal! Although her left ear is missing, and a large scar is going down her face. [across her right eye, and down to her noes, 'causing her to be blind in that eye] she is beautiful to some brutes. I think, I'm prolly wrong. But, she has scars all along her belly, you know when your pinning some one, and their claws dig into her underbelly? Then, she is also has a limp in her walk, its very noticeable, her left leg's wrist thing whatever it is called on a wolf, is broken, and will never heal. She can't really feel pain anymore, so she won't know when she's hurt or not.

She is a mutt, basically a mutt of all breeds of wolf, you can tell she has some maned wolf in her since she is as tall as one. But, she doesn't have the ears, nor the color. Just an all black wolf, well was. She has a lot of timber wolf, and Grey wolf in her too. Just having very muscular legs, and a strong bite. She is as strong as most brutes, and i mean the strongest brutes.[wip]

(( Accepted. ))

Hukawi

He had been the beta male of the pack since he was two, his first year of adulthood. He was now five years of age and it was funny how he never seemed to be too fond of his many responsibilities. He was reliable and responsible enough to carry out his daily tasks which were much and burdensome due to the lack of members in their pack, too serious to blow them off. It always left him feeling as though he had a weight around his shoulders, but he would never say a word of it to Claw. If Stone had wanted him to be the beta male and he had felt he was worthy of such a high responsibility, then he would accept that and do the best he could to serve his pack. That had been Huk's motive to being a good beta male aver since Vera had talked any since into him. That was why he was out to day, alone in the vast forest, winding his way through the dense trees that canopied above his head in dense umbrellas of multicolored leaves. Beneath his paws, browning leaves crunched rhythmically beneath his muscular weight and broad paws. Claw commonly sent him out patrolling the territory and checking the borders. He was in charge of picking out loners on their territory and noticing anything suspicious going on. He would either chase out loners or take them back to Claw to be evaluated by him as a second and final examination of the wolf, either deeming them worthy of joining the pack or sending them back out on their way. For years no one had been seen on the territory other than the pack consisting of only him, Vera, and Claw. He didn't think anyone would ever show up and that they would remain the small pack they were. It was disheartening to him even if he was an aloof and distant wolf. The more wolves in a pack typically meant a higher rate of survival and perhaps an easier lifestyle. That was what he remembered about the pack before Emerald came into the picture.

Veralidaine

She was to be an elder next year, believing that she would be ten years of age sometime during the next summer. She didn't feel like it, but neither did she feel like a spring chicken. It was hard to believe all the time that had passed and how quickly she found herself growing old. No longer did she have her dark shining coat. It was now silver with her age, the color black wolves became as they aged. She didn't look like she had remembered herself in the reflections of rivers and streams, a young and pretty female, eyes burning with youth. Her eyes revealed an aging female, he silver coat there as if to verify her age. She supposed she was nice looking for her age, but her appearance hardly concerned her. She just sometimes wondered who that wolf was looking back up at her when she stared into the river's reflection. It certainly wasn't who she remembered to be. Reflecting on her life, Vera, without a doubt would say she had spent it well in the pack, wasting her years as a conceited fool in her old pack. She only wished that her love had not been ripped away from her. Her life in the pack was good and she very much loved Huk. He was like she supposed a son would be. She had never had any pups of her own, so she only guessed she could compare him to a son. That wasn't important. It just mattered that she loved him and that he was well and he was as far as she knew. He was a good wolf and she decided a nice female needed to come along and be his mate where he could have pups. She figured it might do him some good to have his own little family. She never talked about it to him because no wolves ever seemed to be around. It was just their small, lonely pack. She let out a soft sigh and in her laying position under the warm sun casting shadows across the den site clearing from the trees, laid her head down on her paws and stared out into the forest.

(( I think I'll be the other two wolves later. I don't think they are important at the moment. ))
