"No appointments?" Alyssa asked, getting to the page in her own book. She ran he finger through the list of names and sighed. "Sucks." The young women did not usually take a ton of a appointments for she was just an assistant at the small clinic. Her job was usually the dirty stuff, like wrestling with ill-behaved puppies, or cleaning cages. She was cool with it though. Hell, she had a pretty large salary for just cleaning cages. "Ducky!" She said letting a smile sprawl over her lips. "I remember last time he was here I got slashed across the face." She shook her head with a smile on her face. This job came with hazards. When you were messing with pissed of kitties it was very possible you would get hurt. The women reached across the desk and pressed start on the office computer that was hers. A big picture of a happy golden retriever smiled back at her with the picture of a ounce happy couple starting back at the camera with smiles on their faces. A ring sparkled on the women's hand. The women was Alyssa and the ring was an engagement ring. The same ring was on a drawer in the desk. The women quickly went to her album and clicked on photos, quickly finding a picture of just her and Sami.
{My writing teachers are ah-mazing! I love them so much! They inspire me! One is published and used to write crappy romance novels -grilish giggle-, but now does better stuff. The other is ah-mazing as well, but not published to my knowledge.}
